今年2004年11月に予定している北米ツアーの準備、連絡などで忙しいっす。面白くなりそうなアイデアがいっぱい出てきてるっす。ツアーが成功したあかつきにはその成果を日本にもフィードバックしますんでお楽しみに。北米ツアーの前にはレコーディングもあるので、面白い曲作りますダ。

712 day partyの熱気も冷めやらぬうちにまもなくフジロックへ出発するぞー。今まで3回（台風でキャンセルになった１回を入れると、正確には４回かな）出演したけど、いつも自分たちのライブが終わるとすぐ帰っていたので、じっくりフジを堪能したことがなかったんですわ。今年は目一杯見せてもらう予定。たのしみぃー。山登りするぞー！いい空気を吸うぞー！ラケットとボールは持っていこうかどうしようか、思案中。はは。

しかし、新潟の地震えらいこっちゃ。被災地のみなさまには、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。われわれもいつどないなるかわからんので、非常持ち出し袋、非常食の点検をしようと思った次第。一応はいつも準備してるねんけどね。

それにしても、夏は暑くてツライわぁ。蚊も多いのがたまらんっす。冬の方がましだぁあああ。

712 day party had just finished and I’m still excited. Next show will come soon. We’ll go to Fuji Rock Festival in Naeba, Niigata prececture soon. We’ve played there 4 times but we just played and back home right after the show. For this time, we’ll stay all days during the festival is held and enjoy the fes. I can’t wait to go! I’ll enjoy mountain walking and fresh air. I’m thinking about that I should bring my tennis racket and balls or not.

In Niigata prefecture, there was a hard earthquake this month. I’d like to send my sympathies to the sufferers form the earthquake. We shold to prepare for emergency goods for an earthquake. I need to check out my emergency bag.

Anyway, it’s too hot and humid. I don’t like summer. I don’t like mosquitoes. Summer is worse than winter for me.

7月14日、712 day partyにロックスターたちが遊びに来てくれたよ。写真左から、eastern youthの二宮さん、blood thirsty butchersの小松くん、吉村くん。来てくれてありがとう。みんな男前だね！

名古屋翌日、車で東京入り。渋谷HMVでストアイベント。ドラムセット有で7曲演奏。ライブハウスではなくて普通のお店の中で大きな音を出すっちゅうのも爽快なもんで。演奏もサイン会もほのぼのいい雰囲気だったよ。
いつも思うけど、渋谷は人が多い!!!東京の中でも特に多い!!!ぎゃー。
翌14日、お昼からNirvanaのKurtの映画「About a Son」のパンフ用記事の取材で写真家の久保憲司さんと対談した。久保さんも大阪出身で以前何度か取材してもらったりしたことがあるので、終始おもしろトークができたよ。
そして、渋谷クアトロへ行きサウンドチェック、そしてライブ。この日も筆舌に尽くしがたい興奮のステージでめちゃめちゃロックだった。見に来てくれた方々に感謝。
翌15日はこのツアーの最終任務、新宿タワーレコーズでのインストア。ドラムセット無しでえっちゃんはパーカッション。わたしとともちゃんは通常どおりギターとベース。ただわたしはスタインバーガーモデルの「スピリット」っていうヘッドレスのギターを使用。ギターを自分でデコレーションしてナオコモデルにしとります。全6曲とトークのこれまたほのぼのと楽しいひと時でした。
16日は、712 day 2007を無事終えた満足感と共に帰阪しましたよ。台風や豪雨には直接遭わずに済んでよかったー。
お客さま、スタッフのみなさまありがとう。えっちゃん、ともちゃんおつかれー。次はフジロックだっ!!!

After Nagoya show, we went to Tokyo by car. Then in store at HMV Shibuya. Using full drum set, we played 7 songs set. It was fun to make a loud sound at CD shop. Live and autograph session went well. I always feel that there are sooooooo many people in Shibuya. Too much crowded!!!
Next day on 14th, I was interviewed with a photographer, Kenji Kubo about a Kurt of Nirvana’s movie About a Son. Kenji came from Osaka, too and we know each other then our interview became interesting one.
After that, we loaded in to Club Quattro Shibuya and did sound check, then show time. Our show was so excited. Thanks for coming!!!

On 15th, we did the last mission of this tour, the in-store at Tower Records, Shinjuku. Without drum set, Etsuko played percussions, Tomoko and I played regular instruments. I used Steinburger model guitar which I decorated. It’s a headless guitar. We played 6 songs with peaceful atmosphere.

On 16th, went back to Osaka with a feeling of satisfaction ’cause we could finish 712 day party tour successfully. Luckily, we didn’t get typhoon and hard rain. I have to say thank you for the audience, tour staff, Etusko and Tomoko.
