国内ライブ、北米ツアーの準備その他諸々忙しい今日この頃。ビザの申請からＴシャツの手配など目が回るぜ全くぅ。

と、そんな中10月26日（金）広島の横川シネマでライブしてきたよ。Ramonesづくしの夢のようなイベントだった。まずは広島のラモーンズマニアのワイルドな3人組、「早朝ピストンズ」にスーパーすてきギタリストのマーティ・フリードマンが加わってRamonesのカバーを披露。いや、もう最高。これは見た人はラッキーだよ。

その後、我々の出番。場内満員熱気ムンムンの中ロックしたぞぉ。ベースは7ヶ月ぶりにアツコが弾いたよ。20数年も一緒にやってるので7ヶ月空いたぐらいじゃギャップも何も感じなくて、とても自然にいいグルーブが出たと思います。北米ツアーまではアツコがベース弾くので、大阪のライブもお見逃しなく。

我々のライブが終わってからは、Ramonesのことを書いた本「I Love Ramones」の著者で写真家のユキさんと私のトークショー。Ramonesに関しておしゃべりしました。「I Love Ramones」は、すごく面白い本だよ。Ramonesについて知りたい人は是非読んでみよう。

最後はJohnny Ramoneトリビュート映画「Too tough to die」の上映。盛りだくさんの内容だった。

来て下さったお客さん、ありがとう。東京や大阪からわざわざ出向いてくださった方々も。主催の早朝ピストンズを始めスタッフのみなさんもありがとう。

わたしは普段は早寝早起きでライブの後もわりとすぐ寝てるんだけど、この日は珍しく深夜3時過ぎまで起きてました。というのも広島のお好み焼きで打ち上げをしたんだなー。広島のお好み焼き大好き！また食べたい!

今年は楽しいイベントにいっぱい出してもらえてハッピーです。青森のロックフェス「夏の魔物」といい姫路の「New Picnic」といい今回のRamonesのイベントといい手作りの良さが出たイベントだったと思う。これからもそんな面白いイベントにどんどん出られたらいいなぁ。

Our show at Osaka University of arts was finished. There were many cutie students working for the show. I’d like to say thanks for their hospitality. For catering at back stage, they prepared a lot of sweets. I like them. My dream in my childhood was living in a sweet house. I was happy with sweets.

I saw many people who were seeing Shonen Knife for their first time. The audience was smiling and danced when we played. I could have a good time with a good audience.

The University is on the top of the mountain. The air was fresh and the leaves started to turn red. They were beautiful. When our stage was started, it was just before sunset and when it was over, it was dark night. Feeling of nature, I rocked.

Between sound check and show time, I went to see University festival’s street stalls. I got sweet dumplings and a cotton candy. It was my sweet paradise. Art students made beautiful displays for the stalls.

I left home at8:45 in the morning today and back home at 7:45p.m. Getting home earlier than usual and I relaxed.

ああ、涼しくて爽やかないい気候だ。来週は広島ライブ。Johnny Ramoneトリビュートライブの映画とのコラボイベントだよ。面白いイベントなので、みんな来てね！
と、その前にLoudpark見に行くゾ。Heaven and Hell（Dio時代のBlack Sabbathです。）楽しみだ！

It’s getting cooler. The weather is beautiful. We’ll play in Hiroshima next week. The show will be held at movie theater and after our show, a film Too tough to die will be screened. It is a movie of a tribute show for Johnny Ramone. Everybody come!

I’m gonna go to Loudpark. It’s a heavy metal music festival. Heaven and Hell (Dio years’ Black Sabbath) wiil play. I can’t wait to see them!

6日のベアーズライブの前々日と前日と翌日はテニスをした。8月、9月は夏バテおよびライブラッシュでテニスができなかったので体が鈍っていた。3回立て続けに運動すると、出てくる汗がだんだんサラサラになってくるのがわかる。それに多少のことじゃ息切れしなくなるねん。

と、そんな元気ハツラツな状態で挑んだのは、歴史に名を刻むであろう世紀のイベントNew Picnic。これは、Acid Mother TempleやDMBQそして山本精一師匠などそうそうたるメンツが揃って出演した華麗なるノイズサイケロックフェス。そして会場がすごかった。「太陽公園」は縮小版の天安門広場から兵馬俑、モアイ像、ピラミッド、ヘンゼルとグレーテルのお菓子の家などなんでもありの楽しい場所。なんと、そのイベントの「トリ」が少年ナイフだったというこれまた物凄い事実。お客さんもみんなおしゃれだった。

朝、かなり雨が降ってたので、会場を当初予定していた野外の「天安門広場」から屋内の「兵馬俑」に変更、そのためイベントの進行が遅れてちょっとあせったけど、9曲、全力でぶっ飛ばしたよ。会場の雰囲気はすこぶるよかった。見てくれたお客さん、ありがとう。

このイベントはほんとに面白かった。スタッフのみなさん、おつかれさんでした。来年もし開催されるなら、是非また出たいです。出られなくてもお客さんとして絶対行くぞ。

I played tennis on October 4, 5 and 7. And on October 6, I had a show at Bears in Osaka, Namba. I couldn’t play tennis so much in August and September because of I had a lot of shows and got tired of the summer heat. I had insufficient exercise. After I played tennis three days, my sweat became clean. And I’ve motivated.

Having high energy, I performed at New Picnic which might be a historical rock festival. Acid Mother Temple, DMBQ, Seiichi Yamamoto and many other cool bands played there. The venue was very cool, too. It called Taiyo Koen which means Sun Park. There are many mini size of Terracottas and buildings in the park. Chinese Terracottas, Mexican ones, the moai satued, a pyramid, a triumphal arch and so on. It was fun place. Shonen Knife played the heasliner, yeah! Most of all audience were vey fashionable.

In the morning, we had a hard rain and the site was changed from outdoor to indoor. In the afternoon, the rain was stopped, though. Then the program was delayed and I was hasty but we could play fantastic show. The atmosphere was so nice.

Thank you for coming to the show and thank you for stuff of this event. I’d like to join this event if it will be held next year.

昨日は大阪難波の「ベアーズ」でライブだったよ。ベアーズ開店20周年おめでとう。ライブはたっぷり1時間以上演奏しました。お客さんもたくさんニコニコ見てくれていて、すこぶるうれしかった！
最近発掘された激レアポスターがグッズコーナーにお目見えしました。こちらの手元にまだ少し残っているので12月に名古屋、東京にも持って行きたいと思います。おたのしみに。
いよいよ明日10月8日は伝説的イベントが姫路の太陽公園で開催されるよ。
