March 3rd is “Hinamatsuri”.  It’s a traditional festival for Girls in Japan.  Ususlly families with girl children display the “hina dolls” and pray for girl’s happiness.  Shonen Knife will play at “Hinamatsuri” show at a club “Hokage” in Osaka.  See our live information.

noodlesのイベント「off the wall」に出演でした♪

現在３ピースギャルバンのnoodles。
ナイフと同じ編成で、何度も対バンしてるようなイメージだけど
実は少年ナイフとのちゃんとした対バンは初めてなんですよね。（フェス系や他主催の大きなイベント除く）

お客さんも大入り満員で盛り上がりましたね∩(´∀｀)∩♪
大阪は地元やしいっつも気合がはいりまくります。
お客さんとの真剣勝負！！今日も負けないよ～って。
でも実際にお客さんの顔見たら、なんか「ただいま～」って言いたくなる・笑

なおこさんのギターがESPのPVのやつやっ＾＾可愛い★

noodlesもanimanimusもほんまかっこよくてキュートで楽しいイベントでした♪

すごーく楽しみにしてたイベントだったので、終わったら終わっちゃった～って寂しくなりました(´・ω・`)

最後に、今回のハイライトは「Girl’s rock」
先月の下北沢も今回も、女の子バンドや女子ボーカルバンドのイベントってことで両方セットリストに入ってました。
私、この曲、超名曲やと思うんです。

ほんの小さな出来事でも世界を変えることもあるさ
ギターのプラグをアンプにつなげ　ラウドに決めろ君のGirl’s rock

この曲でどれだけ背中をおされたことか。

きっと他にも勇気もらった人たくさんいるはず。

女の子でも、女の子じゃなくても。

We played at an event called “OFF THE WALL” 
The host is “noodles”,　They’ re 3 piece all female band as same as Shonen knife.
Surprisingly,This event was the 1st time to make an appearance on a same show.

So many people came to the event.
I put spirit into the show, and I thought ”it’s good to be back” when I saw many audience’s smile.

The guitar Naoko played in this show was same as one she used in a music video of ”ESP”
It’s so cute.

 ”noodles” and the another band “animanimus” were very personable and cool.
As you can imagine, it was very exciting day for us.

We played a song named”Girl’s rock”
I think this song is great song and suitable one for the event.
I’m always encouraged by the song and everybody must be it .

SK played at a music event “OFF THE WALL” which is presented by “noodles” , 3 piece all female band from Tokyo.

The first band was “animanimus”.  Beautiful woman played the guitar and cute boys played the bass and the drums.  So nice.

Then we played.  This show was the first one of 2011 in Kansai area.  There were so many audience.  Even someone were from far away countries.  Thank you very much.  I used my Charbell silver guitar. It’s a kind of Les Paul style.   The sound was loud especially at “Pyramid Power” and “Antonio Baka Guy”.  All of us were ROCKed!

2月12日、ヌードルス主催、Off The Wallというイベントに出場！

一番目はアニマニムス。かわいいギターヴォーカル、かわいい男子ベースとかわいいドラムス。キュート。すてきでした。

そして、ナイフ。今年はこの日が関西初のライブ。お客さんたくさん来て下さいました。関西圏外からも、また、海の向こうの遠いお国からも。本当にありがとうございます。

この日はCharbellの銀色ギター久々使いました。レスポールタイプ。なかなかヘビーな音出ました。特に「ピラミッドパワー」から「バカ貝」あたり。みんなロックしたね！

最後はヌードルス。彼女たちもキュートで音楽もすてきです。

わたし、女の子のバンド、好きなんだなぁ。

ライブ後の黒ビールおいしかった。ごち。

noodlesが主催するイベント、OFF THE WALLへの出演となった2/12（土）大阪十三ファンダンゴ。

トップバッターには難関をくぐり抜け、フジロックのルーキー・ア・ゴーゴーに出演を果たした経験もあるanimanimusが登場。

フォトジェニックなVo&Gをしっかりと支えるB,Dr（♂）の3人組フロム大阪。ニューウェイブの匂いも感じさせるサウンドで場内もいい感じに盛り上がります。

そして、少年ナイフの登場！

関西では今年初ライブとなる今回のステージ。いつにも増してハードなサウンドで飛ばしていきます。

セットも大詰め、ピラミッドパワー～アントニオバカ貝で場内爆発！皆さん、盛り上げてもらってありがとうございました！

イベントのトリはnoodles。説得力のある確かな演奏で素晴らしいステージを展開。お越しいただいた皆さんはもとより、出演者としてとても楽しく＆盛り上がったイベントでした。

We opened a little “Takosen” stall at a club in Osaka on last Saturday.  “Takosen” is a crispy shrimp cracker.  We put  “Takoyaki” which is a ball-shaped pancake, sauce, mayo, bits of tempura batter and green laver on it.  SK didn’t play and just made “Takosen”.  I could see fun bands at the night.  One of the band called The Kuruma reminds me of the Jam.  It was interesting.

SK’s next show is February 12th at Juso Fandango, Osaka.  We’ll be a guest act for all female band “noodles”.  I’m making a set list form more than 100 songs of our repertories.  I’m sure you can have a enjoyable night.  Please come and have fun.

先週の土曜、大阪はアメリカ村の火影でたこせん屋台開いてきました。今までのたこせんはソース、マヨネーズ、天かす、青のりだけのトッピングだったけど、今回のたこせんはタコ焼きを二つ乗せてバージョンアップしました。たこ焼きを地面に落っことした人も3名おられました。その日、火影に出ていたバンドはみんな面白かった。たこせん屋さんをするのが忙しくてあまり見に行けなかったけどね。「The クルマ」をちょっと見せてもらったけど、見てたらthe Jamを思い出してなつかしかった。とっても良かったです。アリス・セイラーのゴスロリファッションがキマッてましたよ。

なかなか手間なので、たこせん屋さんはボチボチ引退か、という噂も聞かれますが。

さて、次の少年ナイフのライブは2月12日(土)、大阪十三ファンダンゴにて。ヌードルスのレコ発ゲストです。ナイフ、100曲以上のレパートリーの中からどの曲をやろうか今考え中です。お楽しみに。
