My another project, the folk unit Furushinbun(Old News Papers) played at Club Liner in Koenji, Tokyo on Friday 23rd for the release party of Morning Farm. SK didn\u2019t play there but Furushinbun played 5 songs including dance(!) I stayed the night in Tokyo and left Tokyo early in the next morning. I was sleepy but took bullet train toward to Osaka. We loaded equipments on a car and went to Fandango, Juso, Osaka.<\/p>\n
I was very busy because I had to do Furushinbun, MC and Shonen Knife show. Also we did frea market at the club then my performance time came very quickly. Opening act was Frushinbun. I wore Peko T-shirt, junk glasses and put on junk hair accessory. Peko is in the news in Japan now. Anyway, it is Redd Kross\u2019 merchant T. How was my dancing??<\/p>\n
Then I did MC in between other 4 front acts. The 4 bands who joined to Mroning Farm compilation album played fabulous shows.<\/p>\n
Finally the show time of Shonen Knife was coming. The support bassist was Chizue. She plays the bass with fingers. Every support musician for SK is good person. I\u2019m very happy about that.<\/p>\n
As soon as SK show was started, audience heated up a lot. Please be careful for injury. I could get power from audience and we enjoyed the show very much.<\/p>\n
After the show, we sold SK\u2019s collectors items like big signboard and posters. People who wanted to buy did Stone Paper Scissors and decide who can buy it. I\u2019ll look for other interesting rare SK items until next time.<\/p>\n
