After the gig in L.A., slept for four hours and left for San Francisco at 8:30 a.m. Took seven hours and a half to get there in San Francisco. Got some rest at a hotel and went to the venue. The accommodations there are well known as a \u201crock \u2018n\u2019 roll hotel\u201d. We have stayed there several times and swam in the pool of the courtyard in the summertime. It\u2019s too cold to swim now though some people were swimming. Chilly\u2026<\/p>\n

The live gig in S.F. was also very successful. There were over 400 or 500 people in the large venue. Thank you everybody. Atsuko have been getting a cold when we were in L.A.<\/p>\n

And today we are going to play in San Jose today. We could have a rest thru this evening as we didn\u2019t have a plan to check our sound before the gig. Atsuko, who had fever, stayed at a hotel, and Etchan and I had Japanese foods at Japan Town and Joe (Decibels), who is one of my friends, gave us a ride around the city.<\/p>\n

We had hot chocolate at Ghirardeli Square, the chocolate factory. Went back to our hotel, got prepared and left for the venue in San Jose. It\u2019s 500th anniversary live gig for the Shonen Knife today. Atsuko has still fever. I want her to get well as soon as possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
