It\u2019s a travel day today.<\/p>\n

We were traveling from Detroit to Syracuse via Buffalo. Detroit and Buffalo lie on opposite shores of Lake Erie; since there was a difference of about two hours between driving the southern route through the U.S. and the northern route through Canada, we chose the Canadian side because the distance is shorter. We didn’t bring in any fruit or alcohol to avoid issues at the border. I did eat an orange, but I had to say goodbye to a few beers in the U.S.<\/p>\n

We entered Canada without incident, drove a short distance, and ate a Tim Hortons chicken wrap in the car.<\/p>\n

We filled up with gas in Canada.<\/p>\n

We entered the U.S. without a hitch and arrived in Buffalo after a roughly six-hour drive from Detroit. We stopped by our U.S. record label, Good Charamel, to load up on albums and other items. After stopping by Guitar Center, we headed to Syracuse, New York.<\/p>\n
