Good morning. Today is an easy travel day\u2014a drive of about three hours. We set off at 11:00 and headed to a nearby shopping mall.<\/p>\n

I came across a shop I hadn’t seen in Los Angeles, so I decided to go in. I ended up buying a T-shirt.<\/p>\n

Arrived at the hotel. Toad the Wet Sprocket’s tour bus was parked there! It turns out we’re staying at the same hotel. I heard that on their days off they stay in hotels, but otherwise they sleep on the bus. (I haven’t heard it directly, so I don’t know if it’s true or not.) Come to think of it, I recall that when Shonen Knife toured by bus in the 90s, the three of us shared a room and took turns sleeping on the bus.<\/p>\n

For dinner, Miyoko and members of Shonen Knife \u201cthe Japanese team\u201d had sushi.<\/p>\n
