\nFirst, I got up at 6:00 a.m. and did my laundry at the hotel’s guest laundry room, as I wanted to wash my costumes and other items and leave them in the car. The dryer was weak, so it took over an hour for everything to dry.<\/p>\n

\nHaving slept only about three hours the night before, I sat in a chair waiting for boarding time, feeling like I was half-asleep. Because the flight was delayed, I also had to reschedule an interview from Australia.\u3000Boarding finally began four hours after I arrived at the airport. I thought, “At last, I can sleep on the plane,” but I didn’t manage to sleep as much as I\u2019d hoped during the three-hour flight. I ate my last rice ball while on board.<\/p>\n

\nWe finally arrived at the Seattle airport. Due to the time difference with Denver, we got in around 5:45 PM. Since there aren’t any restaurants near our hotel in Seattle, we bought fish tacos at the airport for dinner. The place is called Fish Shack. Shake Shack for lunch, Fish Shack for dinner.<\/p>\n

\nWe picked up some dinner, located the hotel shuttle stop, and then I called the hotel to request the shuttle. Since the shuttle stops are numbered, we waited at the specific number I was told. I arrived safely at the hotel and checked in. At 8:00 PM, I took part in a Zoom interview from Australia. Afterward, since it was still light outside, Atsuko and I went to a nearby convenience store attached to a gas station to buy beer and wine.<\/p>\n
