\nAfter checking our luggage and receiving our boarding passes, we departed for Christchurch, New Zealand, on an Emirates flight scheduled for 9:00. We arrived in Christchurch after a three-hour-and-15-minute flight, where our agent, Xan, was waiting for us at the exit\u2014our first reunion in about two years. We picked up a rental car, and with Xan\u2019s driving, we headed toward Oamaru.<\/p>\n

\nAfter arriving at the B&B and dropping off our luggage, we went to watch the penguins returning to their nests. Martin, from our supporting band GY-RO, had arranged VIP tickets for us. It was adorable to watch the smallest species of penguins waddling about. It was freezing cold while we were watching them! It seems that 90% of the visitors are from China, so the commentary was provided in both English and Chinese.<\/p>\n
