September 2, A Day Off in Denver CO

りさちゃん達はどうしてるかな、思いつつ朝ごはん。ホテルの朝食会場から食べ物を部屋に持ち帰り、シアトルから手持ちの食パンにマヨネーズを塗ってたまごを挟んでたべた。

I was wondering how Risa and our crew doing now. I had breakfast. I brought some food from the diner and made egg mayo sandwich with bread from Seattle.

今日はツアー中、唯一の移動無し丸一日オフ。ホテルにランドリーがあるので、とにかく洗濯せな！言う事で洗濯しに行った。フロントで、4ドル分を25セントコインに両替してもらい、2ドルで洗濯機、1.75ドルで乾燥機にかけた。どちらも所要時間40分ほど。

It was an only whole day off and no driving during this tour. There is a hotel laundry and rushed there. I exchanged into 25 cent coins for 4 dollars at the front desk and used 2 dollars for washing machine, 1.75 dollars for dryer. Both took 40 minutes.

洗濯が出来上がるまで、全米オープンテニスをテレビで流しながら、ブログ書き。出来上がった洗濯物は、結構シワシワだったので、部屋にあったアイロンをかけた。

Watching US Open Tennis on TV, I wrote my blog until the laundry finished. Dried clothes were a bit shrink. I iron the laundry.

その後、Uberを呼んで、ホテル近くのプレミアムアウトレットへ。近くと言っても歩いたら1時間かかる場所にある。それに、アメリカは車社会なので、歩行者用道路があるかどうかわからないからね。

Then Atsuko and I called Uber and went to Premium Outlet in the neighborhood. It’s in the neighborhood but takes an hour by walk. The main transportation here in the US is car. I don’t know there are enough pedestrian ways or not.

お店を少し見て、昼食はフードコートで。

We walked around the stores a while and had lunch at a food court.

薄切り牛肉をパンに挟んだ、フィリーチーズステーキを買った。これをあつこと半々。マヨネーズかかってるのが好き。

We bought Philly Cheese Steak which is thin slice beef sandwich with mayo. I like mayo.

子供の遊び場コーナー。レイバーデーの祝日の月曜日、賑わってた。

It was a Labor Day on Monday. Many children played here.

すごく暑くて乾燥している。遊び場で遊んでいた子供達の顔が真っ赤になってて、大丈夫かいな？思った。

It was so hot and dry. Some children’s faces turned red by the sun. I was worried about that.

ぬいぐるみの乗り物。

Stuffed animals rides.

子供乗せ買い物カートは7ドル払って返した時1ドル帰ってくる仕組み。

Child cart cost 6 dollars and a dollar deposit.

アウトレットは、野外型。あんまり暑かったので、スタバでストロベリーフラペチーノ買った。名前聞かれて出来た時名前で呼ばれるシステム。なおこって言うたらややこしいので、いつもナンシーって言うて買ってる。

Outlet was at outside. It was too hot, I bought strawberry frappucchino at Starbucks. I told my name Nancy at the counter because it’s easy to understand for people here.
