6月14日（土）英国 ロンドン The Garage
宿をチェックアウトして１２時にロンドンへ向かって出発。ロンドン市内の渋滞を抜けて会場着。こちらの会場はここ数回お世話になっています。
Checked out at noon and offed to London. Driving through traffic jam in London and arrived at the venue. We play here several times in these years.
裏口から搬入。グッズコーナー設営。売り切れ商品続出のため、品数が少なくなっています。
Loaded in from back door. Sat up merch stall. Many items were sold out and we didn’t have enough staff to sell.
早めの夕食を食べに近所のお寿司屋さんへ。わたしはうな丼。元気をつけたいからね。日本のうな丼と違って、タレが異常に多くかかっています。でもうなぎはいつでもおいしいです。もちろん、中国産ウナギなので、日本産とはまた違った味わい。
We went to a sushi restaurant nearby for dinner. I had Una-don, eel bowl. It gives me an energy. Una-don here is served with tons of sauce which is different from Japanese one. Anyway, Unagi eel is always delicious. Of course it is Chinese eel. It is very different from Japanese eel, though.
夕食から帰ってきたら会場玄関にバンド名の看板を設置してくれていました。と、Ｎの文字が！スパイナルタップ的な面白さ。ジャックが会場の人に言ってなおしてもらいました。
When we came back from dinner, the signboard was ready. Hmmm? The letter ‘N’ is nearly falling. Just like Spinal Tap movie!? Jack told to the venue person and amended.
会場に戻ってライブの準備。サポートの人がライブ中、ギターの弦を切ったと大騒ぎしてこちらの楽屋に来たので私のサブギターをお貸ししました。そして私たちの出番。ステージにお水がたくさんこぼしてあったので拭こうとしていたらジャックや会場の人が拭いてくださいました。ありがとう。ギターのエフェクターは機械なので水に弱いのです。ツアー中、私たちのドラムカーペットが水で濡れていたことも2回ほどあって、ビールじゃないだけましか、と。
Went back to the venue and prepared for the show. When the support band played, a guitarist rushed to our dressing room and said “My first string broken! Give me it.” I didn’t have one and I let her to use my spare guitar. Then our show time has come. There was much spilled water on stage. I tried to wipe but Jack did. Thanks! My effect pedals are machines and it should avoid from water. During the tour, our drum carpet was wet before we get on stage about two times. Water is better than spilt beer, anyway.}
ライブはどんどこお客さんが入ってきておられるので10分押しで始めました。聞いたところによると400人以上来てくださったそうで、大変ありがたい。にこにこ、ノリノリで見てくださってありがとうございました！ロンドンのホテルにチェックインして荷物も部屋に大半を運び込んで整理。いよいよツアークライマックス。
Our scheduled show time came but the venue person decided to start10 minutes later because many people are still entering. I’ve heard that more than 400 people. Thank you for coming and watching our show with many smiles and cheerful reaction. We checked in a hotel in London with tons of most of our luggage. The climax of our tour is coming!
