712  Day Party 2025 Day 1

Friday, July 5th Okayama Pepperland

少年ナイフの「ナイフの日」を祝して毎年行っている「ナイフデーパーティー」今年の1日目は岡山！

大阪から車で岡山へ。途中のサービスエリアでお祭りトラック発見。何祭りやったっけ？

Drove from Osaka to Okayama. I found a cool printed truck at a drivers parking.

そこから岡山に入り、ファミレスJoyfulでランチ。おいしくてお得なプライス。近所にJoyfulあったらいいのになぁ。

Arrived at Okayama and had lunch at a diner “Joyful”. It serves delicious reasonable menu. I wish I had it around my neighbors.

そして、会場入り。会場はいつもお世話になっている老舗ライブハウス、ペパーランドです。グッズコーナーはお店の外で、大変暑くて蚊もいるため、ぎりぎりまで商品は屋内で待機。わたしは蚊に刺されやすいので要注意。Mosquitosという曲も書いたほどです。

その間にサウンドチェック。この日のサウンド担当は岡山のガールズバンドaapsのAyakaさん。この日がサウンド担当初日だそうです。

Then we loaded in the legendary venue where we always play when we have a show in Okayama, Pepperland. The merch table is outside. It was very hot and there were mosquitoes, we were staying inside until the time nearly door open time.  I often get mosquito bites. Have to be careful. I even have ever wrote a song called Mosquitos.

During that time, we did sound check. The sound woman on that day was Ayaka who is a member of a band “aaps”, all female band in Okayama. It was the first time for her to do the sound.

Did soundcheck,

あまりの猛暑のため、会場向かいのコンビニに行くだけでも大汗をかきます。そして本番。最新リリースの「みんなたのしく少年ナイフ」からの曲や最新オリジナルアルバム「Our Best Place」からの曲、そして代表的な曲を多数ご用意してライブセットとさせていただきました。途中、「Expo ‘90」の曲の時にギターのリフが混乱して間違っちゃいました。すみません！といったライブ感満載！の出し物となりました。

It was too hot, I got sweat when I went to a convenience store on the other side of the venue. Then show time! We played songs from our latest release, originally released in 1982, “Minna Tanoshiku Shonen Knife”, from our latest original album “Our Best Place” and main songs from every album. I was complicated during I played “Expo ‘90’s”and missed to play the guitar riff. Sorry! It is very much like “live”!
