Monday, September 22th Day Off Natick, MA

昨夜はちょこっとビールを飲んで３時就寝。朝９時４５分に起きて朝食が終了する直前に何とか食堂に滑り込みセーフ。新しいツアークルーのJamとAnthonyも居て、ぎりぎりに来られたそうです。ベーグルを半分にカットして焼いてバターを塗って食べました。
Last night I had a bit of beer and went to bed at 3am. I woke up at 9:45am and managed to make it to the dining hall just before breakfast finished. My new tour crew, Jam and Anthony, were there too, and they made it just in time. I cut a bagel in half, toasted it, spread butter on it and ate it.

そのあと徒歩５分のところにあるGuitar Centerへ行き、機材の足らないものを購入。あつこさんと私以外はそのあとTargetへ行きました。あつこさんと私は徒歩で近隣のNatick Mallへ。敷地が広すぎるアメリカのモールを堪能して、ホテル近くのスーパー、ALDIに寄りいったんホテルの部屋に帰りました。
After that, we went to Guitar Center, a five-minute walk away, to buy some missing equipment. Everyone except Atsuko and I went to Target. Atsuko and I walked to the nearby Natick Mall. After enjoying the sprawling American mall, we stopped by ALDI, a supermarket near the hotel, before heading back to our hotel room.

夕方６時にメンバー３人とみよこさんと、徒歩でモール内にあるCheesecake Factoryへ行って夕食を食べました。鶏と春雨などのレタス包みを注文。パクチーがいっぱいのっていて、ゴマソースとスイートチリソースが添えてあり、大変おいしかったです。アメリカはだいたいパンが付いてきます。パンもいっぱいいただきました。
At 6pm, three of us and Miyoko walked to Cheesecake Factory in the mall for dinner. I ordered lettuce wraps with chicken and vermicelli. They were topped with lots of cilantro and served with sesame sauce and sweet chili sauce, and were very delicious. In America, meals usually come with bread, so I could eat a lot of bread too.

 

 

帰りは暗くなったのでみよこさんがウーバーを呼んでくださり、ホテルに帰還。とろけそうに眠かったけどお風呂に入って就寝。
It was getting dark on the way back, so Miyoko called an Uber for us and we returned to the hotel. I was so sleepy I thought I was going to melt, but I took a bath and went to bed.
