ベーグルとクリームチーズをホテルの朝食会場でもらって8時半に出発。

I got bagels and cream cheese at the hotel breakfast area and left at 8:30.

2回目？のトイレ休憩後に逆方向に走ってしまい、3時間もロスしてしまいました。

After our second toilet break we ended up running in the opposite direction and lost about three hours.

今日は日曜日でいつもより早い6時開場なのです。運転を頑張って、5時前に着いて搬入、サクッとサウンドチェック済ませました。建物は古い教会だったのかな。ステージは半地下にあって教会の雰囲気は全く無いけどね。会場の人がテキパキ手伝ってくれて助かりました。

Today is Sunday, so the venue opened at 6am, earlier than usual. Our crew drove hard but safe, arrived before 5am, set up, and quickly completed the sound check. I think the building was an old church. The stage was in the semi-basement, so it didn’t have a church atmosphere at all. The people at the venue were very helpful and efficient in helping us out.

晩御飯は会場併設キッチンでビーフタキトスをオーダーして食べました。りさちゃんはハンバーガー。

For dinner, I ordered beef taquitos from the venue’s kitchen. Risa had a hamburger.

カセットにサインしたりして、あっという間に出番。

我々は7時50分から演奏しました。キッズが前にいっぱおられました。デカい人形を持った男性も。腹話術師かと思たわ。

We signed cassettes and before we knew it, it was time for our performance.

We started playing at 7:50pm. There were some kids in the front row who enjoyed our performance. There was even a guy with a big puppet. I thought he was a ventriloquist.
