Saturday, December 6, Travel Day from Mexico City to Bogota, Columbia

12月6日（土）移動日　メキシコのメキシコシティからコロンビアのボゴタへ。

ホテルの豪華朝食も３日目となれば、注文方法にも慣れてきて、バフェから食べ物取るだけではなく、カウンターで注文もできることを知り、今朝はコックさんに頼んで目玉焼きを作ってもらいました。

I got used to the gorgeous breakfast at the hotel on the 3rd morning. Not only taking food from wagons and kitchen, I got to know we can order eggs to cook at the counter. I ordered sunny side up.

その後、同宿のロビンとメンバー3人で荷物をまとめました。10時にアランがトレーラーをつないだ車で迎えに来てくれ、乗り込みました。送迎車はその日その日でチャーターした大型車です。豪華。

Then three of us and Robin who is staying at the same hotel sort luggage. Alan came to our hotel to pick us up in a van with trailer at 10am. Our shuttle vans are chartered every day. It’s gorgeous.

空港に到着。ギターとベースは飛行機に預けない方がいいと勧められたので、手持ちで機内に入りましたが、重たいっ！空港の売店でお土産を買い、機上へ。コロンビアの航空会社Avianca航空に初めて乗りました。4時間半ほどのフライト時間ですが、飲み物食べ物のサービスはありませんが、買うことはできます。機内は寒かった！

Arrived at the airport. Alan and Robin advised us not to check in guitars on the plane and I carried my guitar but it was very heavy! I bought some souvenirs at a airport kiosk and boarded the plane. It was my first time to take Columbia airline, Avianca. It took 4 hours and a half from Mexico City to Bogota but there was no meal service. We can purchase drink and meal, though. It was cold on the plane!

ボゴタ到着！現地プロモーターが迎えに来てくれて、大型バンでホテルへ。入室後すぐ夕食に連れてもらいました。ハンバーガー屋さんで、わたしはマッシュルームバーガーを頼みました。これがめちゃくちゃおいしかったです！

Arrived at Bogota! Local promoter came to pick us up and drove to a hotel in a big van. Right after checked in, we were took to a hamburger restaurant for dinner. I ordered mushroom burger. It was very very delicious!

ところで、今回のツアーマネージャーはロビンにお願いしました。90年代と2000年代はじめごろ北米ツアーでずっといっしょに回っていたスタッフで、長年の友人です。カナダ人。コロンビア入国の際、われわれ日本人はそのまま入国できましたが、カナダ人のロビンは入国税が必要で、我々のエージェント、アラン（メキシコ人）に付いて行ってもらい、事務所で支払ってから入国していました。メキシコもコロンビアもスペイン語なので、英語が通じません。スペイン語と英語のできるアランは頼りになります。

宿に入って即身成仏。

By the way, I asked to Robin to be our tour manager for this Latin America tour. He was working with us in 90’s and early 2000’s for North American tours. He is a long time friend. He is a Canadian. When we entered into Columbia at immigration, we Japanese could enter quickly but Canadian people had to pay tax. Our agent Alan who is a Mexican followed Robin and payed the tax at the office. People speak Spanish in both Mexico and Columbia and English is not available. Alan can speak of course Mexican and English, too. It’s so helpful.

After come back to the hotel, I went to bed quickly.
