Monday, October 13th The Rebel Lounge, Phoenix AZ

今日はこの辺はコロンブスデーの祝日らしいです。少し風邪気味でしたが、午前中にホテル近くのお店の集まっているところ２か所を散策しに行きました。
I heard that it was Columbus Day, the national holiday. I got a bit of cold but I went out to shops around the hotel.

Trader Joe’sで玉ねぎ等を買いました。
I bought an onion and some others at Trader Joe’s.

ホテルに帰ってケータリングのハムサンドの残りのハムを使って、ハムマヨたまねぎスパゲティー塩昆布和えを作り、昼食としました。おいしかったです。
Went back to the hotel and using the leftover ham from catered sandwich, I made ham, onion spaghetti topped salted seaweed for lunch. It was delicious.

ホテルに戻って間もなく雨が降ってき大きな雷鳴が一度ありました。
I heard big noise of thunder after came back to the hotel and started rain.

昼食後１時間半爆睡。その後会場へ行き搬入とサウンドチェック。雨は止んでいました。よかった！
I took a nap after lunch for an hour and a half. I slept well. After that we went to the venue and did soundcheck. The rain was stopped. How lucky!

メンバー３人、夕食は近隣のアメリカ系日本食デリへ。わたしはチキンサラダを食べました。
Three of us went to an American-Japanese deli. I had Chicken Salad.

この日は今回のサポート、カナダのバンクーバーのバンド、The Pack A.D.のドラマーMayaさんのお誕生日。ということで彼らのライブの途中にケーキのろうそく消しタイムがありました。私たちのステージマネージャーのAnthonyが緊張の面持ちでケーキをステージへ。
It was Maya’s birthday. She is a drummer of The Pack A.D. from Vancouver Canada, the support band for this tour. During their show, Maya blew candles on the cake. Our stage manager brought the cake to the stage.

そして、私たちのライブは、大声でレスポンスしてくれる元気なお客さんたちに囲まれて楽しく終了。
Then our show went well with very cheerful audience. Some people gave us responses with a loud voice.

ライブ後、ケーキのお相伴にあずかり、おいしかったので２切れももらっちゃいました。ごちそうさまでした。
After show, everyone shared the cake. It was delicious and I ate two pieces. Thanks a lot!

Mayaさんに似顔絵書いてプレゼントしました。

I drew her face for her Birthday message.

Mayaさんはテニスをするそうなので、親近感湧きます！

Maya plays tennis. I would like to play with her someday!

ライブ終了後ホテルに帰りバタンキュー。

After show, drove back to the hotel and went to bed.
