November 16 METROPOLIS, Fremantle Australia

Meeting at 10 am at the hotel lobby, we went to a cafe by 15 minutes walk have breakfast with Paul. I heard that it’s an organic cafe.

I ate two poached eggs, two slices of bread and a cup of coffee.

Paul has been so busy during this tour and there was no time to talk with him but it was good for me to have time to talk with him.

Vegetables from farm were sold at the cafe.

Atsuko and Riss went back to the hotel room. I walked to town after breakfast.

Japanese anime shop.

This is London Court.

European style.

I think barbers and beauty salons usually have big windows in Australia. Why?!

This one, too.

Wow, Christmas tree was already decorated. Time flies. Christmas here is in summer.

Supermarkets in Australia can’t sell alcohol. That’s why liquor stores are always at next to supermarkets. BWS is at next to Woolworth. BWS means Beer, Wine, Spirits but I hope it is Beer, Wine, Sake.

I bought a coffee pastry at a Japanese tart shop Hokkaido and ate half of it. Then we left the hotel at 3:30.

We had 30 minutes drive to Fremantle which is a seaside town with Paul and Greg. This is a hometown of AC/DC’s original vocalist Bon Scott. We were taken to his cemetery.

Praying for the success of our performance at AC/DC’s Highway to Hell event on 1st of March.

Thomas took us a ride to Auckland airport. We took a picture together. Thanks, Thomas!

I ate a pork dumpling at the airport. The bun was thick.

It takes 7 hours and a half from Auckland, NZ to Perth, AU by New Zealand Air. I took a nap and watched a movie. I saw “Niaido-ke Monogatari”. It was fun.

The first flight meal. Very soft mango ice cream was served.

The second one. Ham and cheese sandwich.

Arrived at Perth. Greg took a rent-a-car at the airport and picked up Quan from Melbourne, we went to the hotel. After a break in the hotel three of us had late lunch.

The neighbours of the hotel.

This scenery reminds me of Sannomiya, Kobe Japan.

It was very hot. Temperature was 37℃. I had cold Ramen, Hiyashi-chuka. It was so yummy.

I bought “Dojimaroll” at a Chinese bakery. The name Dojimaroll is a brand name, proper noun, of a confectionery’s cake in Osaka, Japan. Is it Okay to use the name??

After a little break, we went to the venue with Ben and Quan. We entered from the back door to the dressing room. This is the entrance.

This is a graffiti of the side wall of the venue.

10cc or ABBA’s cover band BABBA will play here.

November 14 WHAMMY BAR, Auckland New Zealand

Country style gift shop.

It was fun for me to play at a place where rarely going.

We drove the same way back to Auckland.

Coming near Auckland.

I walked around the neighbours of the hotel. There were many Asian restaurants.

OSAKAやて。 Osaka??

I went up to this Sky Tower 2 years ago.

After I relaxed in a hotel room, Atsuko and I went to a Ramen restaurant near by. Tonkotsu Ramen was good. Risa went to a Japanese restaurant and had Katsu-don.

I ordered gyoza, too. Overeat?!

I walk around the town. There were many slopes in Auckland. In Australian towns have them, too.

Went back to the hotel once and walked to the venue. It is in a mall. Our equipment was loaded in already.

We played here WHAMMY! 2 years ago, too.

Setting our gear.

Just before our show time, we took a photo with CONTENDERS. They would go back to Hamilton after show. Our show time started. Packed audience got very excited and the show went very well. Thank you so much!

November 13 YOT CLUB, Raglan New Zealand

We took a shuttle from hotel to the airport in Wellington. It has a cargo container on the back.

The movie director of The Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit is from Wellington. There were many object regarding movies. I took a picture here 2 years and 4 years ago.

Other than those, there were another objects.

We took New Zealand air. Our airplane was a little bigger than this one to Auckland. Flight time was about 1 hour.

Our agent Thomas came to the airport for picking us up. All of us drove to Raglan.

Drivers service here is like that.

Driving through green field around 2 hours,

We arrived at Raglan!

Beautiful ocean!

This town is famous for good wave for surfers. The atmosphere is hippie and LOHAS. There are nice cafes and fancy natural taste souvenir shops.

Walking through the bridge, I went to the other side of seashore.

This sand beach is shiny black.

In summer, many sightseeing people and surfers are coming to this town.

The ground floor of this building is the venue YOT CLUB. Everything is close to the ocean in the small town.

After I walked around the sea shore, we started to set up our stage.

This is the bar next to the stage.

Behind the venue is a surfer shop.

I was getting hungry. During the lacking equipment would get ready, I came to this eat-in sushi place here.

Beautiful artistic sushi. I bought teriyaki salmon roll and Imari-sushi.

I also had deep-fried Tofu and vegetables. So yum!

After sound check, all of us went to a restaurant near the ocean for dinner. Everything is in a small area.

I had salmon sauté and asparagus. The size of salmon is two times as big of Japanese portion. Salmon skin was crispy and it was yummy!

From left to right, Andy the owner of the venue, Greg the sound man, me, Atsuko, Risa and Thomas our booking agent.

We sat up merch stall outside.

The support band for our New Zealand tour, CONTENDERS were playing. There were already so many audience there even outside.

The audience today was very wild! They moshed and clashed each other. Someone hit a monitor speaker in front of Atsuko and it fell down. The speaker hit her microphone stand and it fell down, too. I didn’t want to get injured and sometimes I tried to escape but an audience in front of me guarded and I was safe. It was so helpful. Thank you! Anyway, the show became cheerful, energetic and wild. Thank you for coming to our show.

We went back to the accommodation and went to bed without taking a shower, I got sweat, though. Why I didn’t take a shower? I’ll let you know tomorrow’s blog.

November 12 SAN FRAN, Wellington New Zealand

I ate 2/3 of pastry which I bought at a bakery near the hotel yesterday and went down to the lobby at 11:30am. We stay at this hotel for 2 nights and everyone stay in single room.

We borrowed a small guitar amp at this record store.

I had no time to see in the store, though.

Why we rent an amp?

Because we do live session at the National Radio of New Zealand.

Entered into the studio and did setting. I got a cup of delicious coffee.

After a News program, our live appearance was started from 1am.

I had talk with DJ and played “no drum kit but maracas” version of Sweet Candy Power. We took a photo with the director.

We dropped our equipment at the hotel, I went to have late lunch with Atsuko to a Malaysian restaurant. Risa directly went to a Sushi restaurant after the radio session.

Mygoren and

Nashigoren. Bothe are tasty but too big portion.

I walked about 10 minutes to the sea shore after lunch.

There were harbour and mountains. It reminds me of Kobe city, Japan.

Sightseeing people were rowing a boat.

After sauna? One of this half naked guy dived into water.

Traffic light shaped Maori’s dance.

There are various traffic lights and it’s fun.

Big tree!

On the way back to the hotel, I bought a cup of boba tea. It became the 3rd time to have it. It has high calorie but tasty. Too many boba and I couldn’t drink everything.

We walked to the venue SAN FRAN by walk. I played here 4 years ago.

The venue is on the upstairs but we rent drum kit and guitar speakers. Everything was got ready for us. We didn’t need to carry by ourselves. How wonderful it was!

Today’s gear.

Our poster for today’s show would be flamed and be decorated on the wall of the venue. I saw a poster when King Brothers, a band from Osaka, played here 11 years ago.

The decoration of Space Invaders looks cute.

We folded our T-shirts which was delivered here in a carton box. We sort them by sizes and put in plastic bags. If we sort by colours or designs, it would be difficult to find out it’s sold out or not. If sorted by sizes, it’s easy to find by colour of Shirts.

We prepared for our merch stall and spend time for it. The time 30 minutes before the door open came quickly. At that time, Liam who would sell our merch came to the venue. I was thinking that we should do our merch by ourselves. He said our mercy stall was well organised.

The support band for our New Zealand shows is CONTENDERS. They said that they were looking forward to touring with us.

Our show went very well and the audience were so energetic and friendly. Thank you for coming to our show. We had an autograph session after show.

I went back to the hotel room but it was so cold and I played Match 3 game. I couldn’t sleep until 5am.
