7月19（日）ジョージア州La Grange, Sweetland Amphitheatre at Boyd Park
朝6時にホテルを出発。フロリダ半島を北上。ガソリンスタンドで茹でピーナッツ売っていました。

We left the hotel at 6am and up to North. Boiled peanuts were sold at a gas station.

それから、このような買いの人形売っていました。かわいい！かわいい！欲しい！欲しい！でも持ち帰るの無理。こわれちゃう。

These cute dolls were sold, too. So cute! So nice! So good! I want these!!!!! But it is impossible to bring back home. It’s so fragile.

約７時間半で会場着。ケータリングのお昼ご飯の時間にギリギリ間に合いました。

After 7 hours drive, we arrived at the venue. We arrived at lunch catering just in time!

今日の楽屋はToad the Wet Sprocketの楽屋の奥の部屋。Toadさんの部屋を通らないと行けないので、ちょっと気を使います。Toadさんのケータリングをおすそ分けしてもらいました。毎日同じものが出るので消費しきれないので食べるのを手伝ってほしいとのこと。ありがとうございます。ナッツ、ダークチョコ、食パン、ジャム、ピーナツバター等。ナッツ大好き。うれしい。
ギターの弦が湿気で錆びて来ていたので替えようとギターを取りに行ったらAnthonyが「弦は替えておいたよ。」。まぁ、ありがとう！ほんとに助かります。
楽屋でドラムヘッドアート作成などしていたらサウンドチェックの時間になりました。

Our dressing room today is next to the dressing room for Toad The Wet Sprocket. We have to walk through their dressing room if we want to go to our room. A bit hard to walk through for us because we don’t want to interrupt them. Anyway. We got some food from Toad’s catering. Thanks a lot! Nuts, dark chocolate, bread, jam and peanuts butter.

My guitar strings got a bit rusty and I tried to change them. When I walk to my guitar, Anthony said “I’ve already changed.” Wow, thanks a lot. So helpful.

Soundcheck time came right after I draw picture on a drum head.

ラインチェックに手間取りましたが何とか終了。

もうすぐこの会場へZZ Topが来るとか。見たい～！

It took long for line check but we could finish sound check safely.

Yay! ZZ Top will come to this venue soon! I would like to see them!!

 

夕食をもらいにケータリングへ行ったり、またまたドラムヘッドアートを作成していたらショータイム。

We went to catering to get dinner and I draw one more drum head at our dressing room. Then show time came.

またまた優しいお客さんの下、ライブは無事終了。ここはSweetland、Sweetは日本語で「あまい」。では、Sweet Candy Powerてな感じで演奏しました。

With nice, friendly audience, our show finished successfully. Sweet is “AMAI” in Japanese. I talked about that  on stage and played Sweet Candy Power song.

そのあと、カートに乗せてもらってグッズコーナーへ。

Then we took a cart ride and went to our merch table.

フレンドリーなお客さんがたくさん来てくださいました。家族で見に来ている人も多く、ティーンエイジャーもたくさんグッズコーナーへ来てくれました。

ツアーマネージャー兼、物販担当、Good Charamel Recordsのみよこさんと。暑い中ありがとうございます！

So many people came to our autograph session. There are many people who came with their family. Many teenager came to our session.

Men at Workのステージを少し見せてもらって撤収。
ホテルにチェックインしてビールをちょっと飲んで就寝。

I saw a bit of Men at Work show and went to the hotel. I had a bit of beer and went to bed.
