昨夜は11時半ぐらいに寝床に入れました。2時間ぐらいごとに目が覚めて、結局午前6時半に起床。お腹が空いていたので朝食会場へ。今日はサッカーボールの形のワッフルを焼きました。部屋に戻ってブログの下書きをしたりした後、朝8時に車でClearwaterへ。
I could go to bed around 11:30 last night. I awake once per 2 hours and finally I went out from the bed at 6:00am. I was hungry and went to the hotel diner. I made soccer ball waffles today. Went back to the hotel room and wrote my blog and left the hotel at 8:00am to Clearwater.

ガソリンスタンドはサークルＫとかLOVE’Sとか。ちょっとしたお土産も売っていて楽しいです。今までさんざん買ったのでほとんど何も買わないですが。
The gas stations include places like Circle K and Love’s. It’s fun to browse the small souvenirs they sell, though I hardly buy anything anymore since I’ve already bought so much in the past.

会場到着。海辺のリゾート感あふれています。ケータリングで昼食を食べた後JamとAnthonyは機材積み出し。全体のクルーが手伝ってくれるのでメンバーは楽屋で待機することができます。みよこさんは早速グッズコーナーへ。メンバーは楽屋へ。3時間ほどあるのでドラムヘッドアートを作成したり、ポスターにサインしたりしました。ブログも書いてアップしました。
We arrived at the venue. It has a real seaside resort vibe. After having lunch provided by the catering, Jam and Anthony set about unloading the gear. Since the entire crew help with this, the band members could wait in the dressing room. Miyoko headed straight for the merchandise area. We had about three hours to spare time and I draw a picture on a drumhead and signing posters. I also wrote and uploaded a blog post.

その後サウンドチェック。立派な会場です。ケータリングから夕食分を使い捨て容器に入れて楽屋の冷蔵庫へ。ケーキもありました。
After that, we did a soundcheck. It’s an impressive venue. I took some of the catering specifically our dinner and put it into disposable containers to store in the dressing room fridge. There was cake, too.

会場から素敵なお土産もいただきました。

そして、ライブ。最初からかなりのお客さんがすでに着席しておられました。大変に盛り上がって終了。ご来場の皆さまありがとうございました！
ライブ終了後は会場の人の案内でグッズコーナーへ、サイン会をしに行きました。今日も長蛇の列が！ありがとうございます！Toad the Wet Sprocketが始まるまでの３０分グッズコーナーでサインして、そのあとインタビューを1件受けました。虫がいっぱい飛んでいて顔を直撃してくるので追い払うのが大変でした。楽屋に戻り、冷蔵庫から夕食用のケータリングを出して食べました。温かいうちに食べたいけど時間が無いのよね。ポートベロマッシュルームとビーガンチーズケーキがおいしかった！
Then came the live show. A good-sized crowd was already seated right from the start. The show ended safely with great energy. Thanks to everyone who came out!
After the set, I was guided to the merchandise area for an autograph session. There was a huge line today, too! Thank you all! I spent the thirty minutes before Toad the Wet Sprocket’s set signing autographs at the merch stand, followed by one interview. There were swarms of bugs flying around and hitting me right in the face, so keeping them away was a real struggle. I headed back to the dressing room, grabbed the catered dinner from the fridge, and ate. I always want to eat while it’s still warm, but there’s just never enough time. The Portobello mushroom and vegan cheesecake were delicious!

ビールも1杯いただきました。バーボンの樽で仕込んだビールです。バーボンの風味がしました。そのあと荷物をまとめて全員で会場を出てホテルにチェックインし、サクッと就寝。明日は朝6時出発なのでね。
I also had a beer—one brewed in bourbon barrels—so it had a distinct bourbon flavor. Afterward, we packed up, left the venue, checked into the hotel, and turned in early. We have a 6:00 AM departure tomorrow, after all.
