朝7時チェックアウトして車は北へ。ニューヨーク州からマサチューセッツ州へ。途中のガソリンスタンドにて。
Checked out the hotel at 7am and drove to North. From New York State to Massachusetts State. At a gas station on the way.
胴体を押したらガーと鳴く人形。大きいのは値段が高い。
Squeeze the body and make weird noise. The price of big one is expensive.
休憩はさんで７時間ほどで会場到着。お花がきれいに植えてあります。
Including some break, it took 7 hours to arrive the venue. There are beautiful flowers.
綺麗なお花。Beautiful flowers.
昼食のケータリングをいただきました。チキン、マカロニチーズ。
We had catering for lunch. Chicken and macaroni cheese.
スープ。Soup
マフィンはおいしそうだったけど、巨大なのでもらいませんでした。毎日食べ放題は危険。
Muffin looks yum but it was too big for me and I didn’t have it. All you can eat everyday is dangerous.
サウンドチェック。ミュージックサーカスという名前の通り、会場は大きなテントの中で、円形のステージを囲んで３６０度客席です。
Soundcheck. As the name Music Circus, the venue is in a big tent and there are seats around the round stage.
すごいおもしろいところ。
It is an interesting place.
円の真ん中にステージがあって、
There is a circle stage in the center,
そのステージが回転します。
The stage is rotating.
テントに映像を投影ます。自分の姿を見て大笑いしました。これはあつこさん。
Images are projected onto the tent. I burst out laughing when I saw myself. This is Atsuko-san.
こちらの会場は1951年にオープンした歴史ある場所です。伝説的バンドがたくさんライブしています。
This venue has a rich history, having opened in 1951. Many legendary bands have performed here.

そのあと夕食をもらいに再びケータリングへ。エビの串焼きがありました。
After that, I went back to the catering area to get some dinner. There were shrimp skewers.
そしてライブ開始！
Then show time!
「回転するステージで演奏するのは初めてです。電子レンジの中にいるみたい！」とMCで言ったらめちゃくちゃ大きな笑いが起こりました。ネタを仕込んだ甲斐がありました。
When I said during the MC, “It’s my first time performing on a rotating stage – it feels like being inside a microwave!” it got a huge laugh. It was worth preparing that bit.
ライブ終了後はグッズコーナーでサイン会をしました。お客さんみなさん気軽に話しかけてくださいます。ご来場ありがとうございました！Toad the Wet SprocketとMen at Workを少し見せて頂きました。素晴らしい音楽。
楽屋に戻り、ビールをいただきました。明日は移動日、といっても移動距離が2時間弱なので、気が楽です。ホテルに入り就寝。After the show, we held an autograph session at the merchandise booth. Everyone was so friendly and easy to talk to. Thanks for coming out! We also caught a bit of the sets by Toad the Wet Sprocket and Men at Work. What a fantastic music. Back in the dressing room, I enjoyed a beer. Tomorrow is a travel day, but since the journey takes less than two hours, I’m feeling pretty relaxed about it. Then, it was off to the hotel to get some sleep.
