7月25（土）移動日DetroitからBuffaloそしてSyracuse
Saturday, July 25 Travel Day from Detroit – Buffalo – Syracuse
今日は移動日。デトロイトからカナダに入り、エリー湖の北側に沿って走り、再び米国に戻るルートでまずはバッファローＮＹに行きます。
９時４５分にホテルを出ました。カナダに入国するので持っていたビールを全部、泣く泣くホテルに置いてきました。たとえ免税範囲でも、アルコールを持っていると国境で調べが入ったときに面倒だということで。
It was a travel day. We drove to Canada from Detroit and along to the north side of Lake Erie, we re-enter into the US. Then drove to Buffalo, NY.
We left the hotel at 9:45. I had to leave all beer at the hotel because we wanted to have quick immigration. Even if we have tax exemption alcohol, it’s troublesome when inspection would be happening.

休憩を入れて６時間ほどで米国ＮＹ州のバッファロー着。バッファローはわれらがGood Charamel Recordsの本拠地。Let’s Knife Re-CutのLP等の追加を積み込みSyracuseへ。休憩含み約３時間でホテル着。いやー、ドライブ長かった～。
Including some rests, we arrived at Buffalo after 6 hours drive. Buffalo is the home base of Good Charamel Records which release Shonen Knife in the US. We loaded some additional “Let’s Knife Re-Cut” vinyl and other items in the van and drove to Syracuse.
Including some breaks, we arrived at the hotel after 3 hours drive. Ah, what was the long drive!

みんなは中華点心のお店に行かれましたが、私は部屋でレトルトカレーとみよこさんにバッファローで頂いた缶ビールを夕食としました。ありがたい。部屋に電子レンジがなかったのですが、ロビーの電子レンジを使いました。ロビーに近い部屋にしてもらって助かっています。その後、あつこが帰ってきて持ち帰りのプチ肉まん等おすそ分けをもらいました。おなかいっぱい。おやすみなさい。
Other than me went to eat dim sum but I stayed at the hotel and ate curry and rice with beer from Miyoko. Thanks a lot. There was no microwave at the hotel room but I could use it in the lobby. It was easy because we could stay a room close to the lobby. Then Atsuko came back with a meat bun and Chinese crape. I had them, too and got full. Good night.
