おはようございます！
シアトル空港近くのホテルからカーネーションへは車で約50分。直子と私は11時にホテルを出てUberで会場へ向かいました。
Good morning!
It takes about 50 minutes by car to get from the hotel near Seattle Airport to Carnation. Naoko and I left the hotel at 11:00 and headed to the venue via Uber.
私たちの10分前に着いたらしい少年ナイフチームと合流。
We met up with the Shonen Knife team, who apparently arrived ten minutes before us.
ケータリング。ランチのメニューはポテトバンズにバーベキュープルドポークとコールスロー。それとコーンブレッド。美味しい〜
Catering. The lunch menu features barbecue pulled pork and coleslaw on potato buns, along with cornbread. Delicious .
楽屋はテント。
The dressing room is a tent.
中はこんな感じ。扇風機が3台用意してくれていました。少し暑いけど過ごしやすいです。
Here’s what it looks like inside. They’ve provided three electric fans. It’s a bit warm, but still comfortable.

今日はメンアットワークのツアーマネージャーのクリスさんのお誕生日だそうです。(8月1日に撮った写真 笑顔が素敵)
Apparently, today is the birthday of Kris, the tour manager for Men at Work. (A photo taken on August 1st—He has a wonderful smile.)
ケーキのサプライズ！ケーキが皆んなに行き渡るようにクリスさんがカットした後更にツアーの大ボスコリンさんがケーキをカット。うちのボス直子もお手伝い。コリンさんと少しお話し出来ました！
Surprise with cake! After Kris cut the cake to ensure everyone got a piece, Colin—the big boss of this tour—cut it further. My own boss, Naoko, helped out too. I even got to chat a little with Colin!
甘党男子のアンソニー。ケーキは美味しかったです。
Anthony, he is a sweet tooth. The cake was delicious.
晩ご飯のケータリングはサーモンやチキンもあったけどきのこのリゾットが美味！おかわりしてホテルに持ち帰りました。
The dinner catering included salmon and chicken, and the mushroom risotto was delicious! I went back for seconds and brought back to the hotel.
準備オーケー！
We are ready to ROCK!
ライブ後サイン会にたくさんの方が来てくれました！
Many people came to the autograph session after the live show!
Toad the Wet Sprocket のグレンさんがステージで少年ナイフに労いのお言葉を言ってくれてました。嬉しすぎ〜
Glen from Toad the Wet Sprocket offered some words of appreciation to Shonen Knife while on stage. I’m so happy!
