おはようございます。前夜ソルトレイクシティのホテルに宿泊していたのでチェックアウト時間の11時にホテルを出ました。今晩はライブ後に少しドライブして違うホテルに宿泊です。

会場入りの時間までモールで時間つぶししました。

Good morning. We stayed last night at a hotel in Salt Lake City, so we left at 11:00 AM which is checking out time. Tonight, after the concert, we’ll be driving a bit to stay at a different hotel.

We killed time at the mall until it was time to head to the venue.

会場は庭園&樹木園の自然がいっぱいなところです。まずは楽屋に行ってお昼ご飯をいただきにケータリング会場へ。

The venue is a lush, natural setting featuring gardens and an arboretum. First, we headed to the dressing room, then went to the catering area to have lunch.

アンソニーがパニーニを作っていたので私も真似して作ってみたら美味しかったです。

Anthony was making panini, so I tried making one too, and it was delicious.

サウンドチェック  Sound check 

一部は会場の椅子が用意されてるけど基本的に自分の椅子を持って来て楽しむスタイル。

ステージ前のお花が綺麗です。

While some chairs are provided at the venue, the general style is to bring your own chair to enjoy the event.

The flowers in front of the stage are beautiful.

遅い昼にパニーニ食べてるからあまりお腹は空いてないけどライブ前に早い晩ご飯を食べておかないと食べ逃すので…。

I had a panini for a late lunch, so I’m not really hungry, but I need to have an early dinner before the concert—otherwise, I’ll miss the chance to eat.

チープトリックのベーシストが来てるけど会う？って聞かれて、ホンマかいなと思ったけどもうドキドキ、心臓が口から飛び出そうになりました。

私の人生で、初コンサートがチープトリックでした。その頃に戻ったみたいで顔が緩んでるわ〜。

An unexpected visitor appeared that day!!

When I was asked, “Cheap Trick’s bassist is here—want to meet him?” I could hardly believe it, but my heart started pounding—it felt like it was going to jump right out of my mouth.

Cheap Trick was the first concert by an international act I ever saw. It feels just like going back to those days—I’m so happy, I can’t help but grin.

トムピーターソン様、来てくれてありがとうございます！嬉しすぎ〜　ピックもプレゼントしてくれました。

Thanks so much for coming, Tom Petersson! I’m absolutely thrilled—he even gave me bass guitar picks as a gift.

物販コーナーに行ってサイン会をして荷物を片付け次第会場を後にしました。ここユタ州ソルトレイクシティからネバダ州のホテルまで移動です。

We went to the merchandise area, held an autograph session, and left the venue as soon as we had packed up our gear. We then traveled from Salt Lake City, Utah, to our hotel in Nevada.
