Welcome to Atsuko’s note 

本来なら今日15日はワシントン州スポケーンでライブでした。こちらも山火事で空気が汚染されて屋外ライブは中止となってしまいました。悲しいですが仕方ありません。早く収まりますように。

We were originally scheduled to perform in Spokane, Washington, today, the 15th. However, the outdoor concert had to be cancelled due to air pollution caused by wildfires. It’s disappointing, but it couldn’t be helped. I hope the situation resolves soon.

おはようございます。今日は移動日、しかも長時間！10時にホテルを出発しました。レッツゴー！

Good morning! Today is a travel day—and a long one at that! We left the hotel at 10:00. Let’s go!

しばらく走って。

Driving for a while.

外が霞んでる。 地図を見たら空気の汚染があるエリアでした。

It’s hazy outside. I checked the map and saw that it’s an area with air pollution.

トイレ休憩で寄ったところも煙かったです。

The place where we stopped for a bathroom break was also smoky.

しばらく走って休憩。マクドナルドでチキンラップを食べました。

We drove for a while and then took a break. I had a chicken wrap at McDonald’s.

うわ〜  Wow!

またまた走って〜

Driving and driving.

このポテチ見たことのないフレーバーやんって言ってたら、りさちゃんが食べてみましょうって買ってくれました。バーベキュービネガーオニオンの味でした。そのままやん！

I remarked on a potato chip flavor I’d never seen before, so Risa bought them for us to try. It turned out to be Barbecue Vinegar Onion flavor—exactly what it said on the bag!

給油して後もう少し。

Refueled—just a little bit more to go.

ホテルに到着後すぐ晩ご飯の買い出しに出かけました。りさちゃんとみよこさんは韓国料理。直子と私はタコス！バニラシェイクを飲みながら帰りました。美味しい〜

Right after arriving at the hotel, we went out to buy dinner. Risa and Miyoko got Korean food. Naoko and I had tacos ! I drank vanilla shakes on the way back. So delicious!

オリジナルのデルタコ。もうひとつはフィッシュタコを買ったつもりがチキンタコだったのでちょっと残念。自分の不注意なんで仕方ないです。

The original Del Taco. As for the other one—I thought I had ordered a fish taco, but it turned out to be a chicken taco, which was a bit of a letdown. That was my own oversight, though, so it can’t be helped.

明日も移動日。
