March 31, Die Trompete, Bochum Germany

We checked out the hotel in Hamburg at 10am and drove to Bochum. I ate sandwiches from the venue last night on the way to Bochum. It was delicious with lots of mayonnaise. But I rushed to eat and mostly choking and my esophagus hurts.

I bought tinned mint candy at a gas station. I often bought this candy since 90’s tours. I love powdered sugar in it.

We had traffic jam caused by car accident but we arrived at the venue just before 4pm.

Sight seeing tractor?!

There was a church.

We loaded in and sat up merch table then did soundcheck. The stage looked like a living room. Fun.

Finished the setting.

After soundcheck, we went to eat dinner. We ate at Vietnamese-Japanese restaurant. The name of the restaurant seems like a song title of Queen?! I ordered Sen-cha. It was tasty. Cookies and honey on the side. I don’t put honey, though.

I ate salmon after a while. The sauce was tomato taste. Actually I wanted to eat teriyaki style. Anyway, I was happy to eat steamed rice. I used to love bread but now I love rice more than bread. Why?!

On the way back to the venue. There was a subway station.

I dropped at a supermarket and bought mochi-cream, Nisshin Yakisoba and so on. I ate Mochi-Cream at the dressing room.

Photos by Kenkichi
Then our show time had came. Many audience was coming and we had to wait to enter all audience.

A boy came to see us with his parents. He seemed enjoying to see our show. Thank you! There were two ladies in the audience. One lady said that her husband was Shonen Knife fan and he planned to come to our 2021 show but the tour postponed 2 years. During this 2 years he passed away and she came to our show with her friend. Thank you for coming and I hope her husband enjoy our show with her in her mind. All audience was so cheerful and we had a very good time.

We checked in the hotel and I tried to make Nisshin Yakisoba using Atsuko’s Tupperware and pour hot water. I could make it. But the taste was a bit different from Japanese one. It may be flour and sauce are different. I had some wine and went to bed.
