朝9時半にホテルを出発。約３時間半でポールバニヤン像前に到着。民話に出てくる、伝説の巨人。西部開拓時代の木こりだそうです。

We left the hotel at 9:30. After 3 hours and a half drive we arrived at Paul Bunyan’s statue. He is a giant lumberjack and folk hero at western development era.

今日の会場はすぐ近く。こちらはおいしいケータリングで有名だそうです。会場に入ってまず昼食をいただきにケータリングへ。船に盛り付けてあります。お刺身の船盛りとは全然違います。

The venue is close to the statue. This venue is famous for delicious catering. We went to the catering first. Salad was on a boat. Not like Japanese Sashimi on a wooden ship dish.

私はフォーとサラダをいただきました。フォーが出るなんて珍しいです。

I had Pho and salad. It is rare that Pho for catering.

スムージーも作ってもらいました。マンゴーとギリシャヨーグルト。

I had smoothie. Mango and Greek Yogurt.

かわいいワンちゃんが居ました。会場の方の犬みたいです。とてもかわいい。

There was a cut dog at the venue.

楽屋はトレーラー。トイレとシャワー完備です。

Dressing rooms are trailers. Toilet and shower equipped.

そして、サウンドチェック。会場、とても広いね。見晴らしがよいです。

Then soundcheck. It was a big venue. Good view.

ステージの裏の広場にゴーカートがあって、ほんのちょっと乗せてもらいました。もちろん低速で安全運転で。

There were go-karts. We had ride a bit. I drove slow with safety drive.

そこからまた夕食のケータリングへ。何と生ガキがありました。私以外のみんなはおいしくいただいておりました。本当は食べたいのだけど、カキ中毒を警戒して食べませんでした。残念。Blue Blue Blue Oyster~

Then catering for dinner. They served raw oysters. Other than me ate them and enjoyed. Actually I wanted to eat but I’ve ever had oyster poisoning and to avoid it, I didn’t eat. Blue Blue Oyster…

シーフードカネロニ、鮭とロブスターがパスタでくるんであるもの、たいへんおいしかったです。

Sea food cannelloni was so nice. Salmon and lobster was rolled up by flat pasta.

他にお菓子もありました。ドーナツを１つ持ち帰りで頂きました。明日たべましょ。

There were sweets, too. I brought one donut. I will eat tomorrow.

そしてライブ！たくさんのご観覧ありがとうございました！

後から知ったんだけど、ステージ横に大きなスクリーンがあって大写しになっていました。ははは。ちょっと恥ずかし。おもしろ。

I got to know after show but there were big screens on the both side of the stage and I was on the screen. I was a bit ashamed. Fun.

ライブが終わり、サイン会をしました。Tシャツ、LP、トートバッグなど人気です。販売担当の方と記念撮影。

After show we went to the merch booth and did autograph session. Our T-shirts, Vinyl, Tote and more are popular. We took a picture with a merch person.

今日のビール。サイン会のあとで。

みよこさんはまた最後まで残らなくちゃならなくて、他のみんなでホテルへ入りました。シャワー浴びてほっこりしてたら非常警報機がけたたましい音でなり始めました。え！うちの部屋のが鳴ってるの？と思いきや廊下に出たら全館で鳴っていて、他の部屋の人も部屋から出ていました。

Miyoko had to stay until the end and others drove back to the hotel. Just as I was relaxing after a shower, the fire alarm started blaring with a piercing sound.

とりあえず貴重品をもって１階の屋外駐車場へ行き、りさちゃんとJamと合流。しばらく待っていたら非常警報器が鳴り止み、部屋に戻ることにしました。消防士さんも来られていました。ホテル側からは何の放送も連絡もありませんでした。前にイギリスでもそんな事あったなぁ。

For the time being, I grabbed my valuables and headed to the outdoor parking lot on the ground floor to meet up with Risa and Jam. After waiting a while, the emergency alarm stopped, so we decided to return to our rooms. Firefighters had arrived on the scene as well. The hotel, however, provided no announcements or updates whatsoever. I remember something similar happening in the UK, too.

部屋に戻ってしばらくしたら、みよこさんが会場の夜食ケータリングのロブスターサンドを持って来てくれました。ありがとうございます！明日の朝いただきます。おつかれさまのおやすみなさい。

A little while after I got back to my room, Miyoko brought us lobster sandwiches from the event’s late-night catering. Thank you so much! I’ll have it for breakfast tomorrow. Good night, and thanks for all your hard work today.
