Welcome to Atsuko’s note 

おはようございます。朝8時半にホテルを出発しました。ガスステーションに寄るも州の形のマグネットには出会えません。

会場に到着後はいつものようにケータリング会場へ行ってランチをしました。

Good morning. We left the hotel at 8:30 a.m. We stopped at a gas station, but I couldn’t find any state-shaped magnets.

After arriving at the venue, we went to the catering area and had lunch, as usual.

前日にタコスを食べた日に限ってタコスランチ。好きなのでいいけど〜

I had tacos yesterday, but I’m having tacos for lunch again today. I like them, though, so it’s fine.

楽屋の近くで正式な従業員猫のラファがあいさつしてくれました。きゃわいい〜

Rafa, the official staff cat, greeted me near the dressing room.

楽屋からステージへは、きれいな植え込みの前を通っていきます。

To get from the dressing room to the stage, we walk past a beautiful flowerbed.

さすが植物園、ステージ周りもきれいな植え込み。

Since it’s a botanical garden, the area around the stage is also surrounded by beautiful plantings.

客席は芝生なのでお客さんはアウトドア用の椅子を持参されます。

Since the seating area is a lawn, audience members bring their own outdoor chairs.

植物園を散策しました。

I took a stroll through the botanical garden.

通り雨が来たけど止んだのでささっとサウンドチェック。

A passing shower came through, but it stopped, so we quickly did a sound check.

サウンドチェック後は晩ご飯。

After the soundcheck, we had dinner.

サーモン、カレー風味のカリフラワー、ポテト、パン、そしてちょっとのデザートを頂きました。

I had salmon, curry-flavored cauliflower, potatoes, bread, and a little bit of dessert.

ケータリング会場と楽屋の場所が遠く、しかも植物園の中を通らないと行けません。

The catering area and the dressing room are far apart, and we have to walk through the botanical garden to get between them.

植物園を通るたびに植物に感動。

Every time I pass through the botanical garden, I am moved by the plants.

私たちのライブ前からたくさんのお客さんがお越しです。

A large number of guests have arrived even before our live performance.

おつかれさまー。
