おはようございます。朝7時にホテルを出てマサチューセッツ州のコハセットヘ。
途中のガスステーションでは州の形のマグネットは売ってませんでした。東海岸沿いは州の形が複雑だから作れないのかな。
7時間のドライブ後会場に到着。
Good morning. We left the hotel at 7 a.m. and headed to Cohasset, Massachusetts.
They didn’t sell state-shaped magnets at the gas stations along the way. I wonder if it’s because the state shapes along the East Coast are too complex to manufacture.
Arrived at the venue after a seven-hour drive.
さっそく昼のケータリング会場へ。
We went to the catering place for lunch.
フルーツが嬉しい。
I was happy there were fruits.
会場はサーカスのテント。
The venue was a circus tent.
ベニーグッドマンもここで演奏したのね、凄い。
Benny Goodman performed here too—that’s amazing.
ステージが回転するから360度に客席‼︎ こんなステージは初めてです。
The stage rotates, so the audience surrounds it 360 degrees! I’ve never seen a stage like this before.

It’s being projected in a large image onto the tent.
サウンドチェックをして、夜のケータリングはえびの串焼き！
We finished the soundcheck, and for tonight’s catering, I was having grilled shrimp skewers!
回るステージは楽しかったです。一回転したら逆回転の繰り返し。同じ方向にずっと回るのかと思ったけど、Toad The Wet Sprocket のグレンがケーブルの事情だねと冷静に教えてくれました。笑
The rotating stage was fun. It would spin one way, then reverse direction, repeating the cycle. I thought it was just going to keep spinning in the same direction, but Glen from Toad the Wet Sprocket calmly explained that it was due to the way the cables were set up.
物販コーナーでサイン会して、メンアットワークも少し見させてもらいました。
We did autograph session at the merchandise area and also got to watch Men at Work.
今日のビールはサマーエール。
Today’s beer was a summer ale.
