朝に昨日から浸けていたお米を「ちびくろちゃん」を使って電子レンジで炊きました。「ちびくろちゃん」は電子レンジ用1合炊きの容器です。蒸らしている間にホテルの隣のモールへ。巨大駐車場の周りにお店が並んでいるところ。Old Navyに行きTシャツ等を買いました。レジに持っていったら値札より安かったので、聞いたら最終バーゲンとのこと。お得感満載。その後部屋に戻り、フリーズドライ玉子丼をお湯で戻してご飯と食べました。おいしい。便利。
In the morning, I cooked the rice which I had been soaking since the day before in the microwave using “Chibikuro-chan,” a dedicated one-cup microwave rice cooker. While the rice was steaming, I headed to the mall next to the hotel, a complex where shops are arranged around a massive parking lot. I visited Old Navy and bought some items, including T-shirts. When I took them to the register, the price was lower than marked and I asked about it and learned they were on final clearance. It felt like a real bargain. Afterward, I returned to my room, rehydrated a freeze-dried “Tamago-don”, egg bowl, topping with hot water, and ate it with the rice. It was delicious and convenient.
午後2時に会場へ。会場までの道は全部混んでいます。小一時間後会場に到着しましたが、マンハッタンは停車する場所を確保するのも大変。狭い道をバスや車、自転車も飛ばして走っています。そうこうしていたら会場の人が来られて、会場に入りました。会場の方が搬入を手伝ってくださって助かりました。
We headed to the venue at 2:00 PM. The roads leading there were completely jammed. We arrived after nearly an hour, but finding a place to stop in Manhattan was a real challenge. Buses, cars, and bicycles were all speeding along the narrow streets. Eventually, a staff member at the venue came out to meet us, and we entered the venue. It was a huge help having the venue staff assist us with the load-in.
ここの会場は2015年にCJ Ramoneとのツアーで来たところ。サウンドチェックを済ませて晩御飯を買いに外へ出たら、すでに会場前にお客さんの入場待ちの列が出来ていました。ありがたい！
I had visited this venue before back in 2015 while touring with CJ Ramone. After finishing the soundcheck, I stepped outside to grab some dinner and found a line of fans already waiting to get in. I’m so grateful for that!
会場から徒歩圏内にたくさん飲食店があります。さすがニューヨークシティー！中華系日本食店でチキンカツを持ち帰りにして、楽屋で食べました。ごはんが1合ぐらい容器にぎゅうぎゅう詰めになっています。チキンカツも3枚ぐらいありました。
There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the venue. It is New York City, after all! I got some chicken katsu to go from a Chinese-run Japanese restaurant and ate it in the dressing room. The container was packed tight with about a full of rice almost 300g, and there were about thirty pieces of chicken katsu, too.
今日のライブはチケット売り切れ!!ありがたい！開場後、一足先に会場に戻っていた、りさちゃんが、グッズコーナーを手伝ってくれていました。お客さんが途切れることが無かったそうです。ありがたい！
Tickets for today’s show are sold out—I’m so grateful! Risa, who had headed back to the venue a bit earlier than me, helped at the merchandise booth. She said that there were so many customers there. I’m so thankful!
その後、ドラムヘッドに絵を描きました。

そして、開演。オープニングに「The Dracu-Las」が演奏。かわいい男女4人組。
Then the show started. The Doracu-Las played as the opening. They are 4 piece band consist of cute boys and girls.
次に少年ナイフによるラモーンズのカバーバンド、「大阪ラモーンズ」の出番。「大阪ラモーンズ」は、去年のUSツアーでも数回演奏して、7月にも東京・秋葉原クラブグッドマンで演奏しました。今回はラモーンズのホームタウン、ニューヨークシティーでの演奏です。ライブの間中ずっと、お客さんも一緒に歌っておられました。熱狂のうちに「大阪ラモーンズ」終了。
After that, The Ramones’ cover band by Shonen Knife “Osaka Ramones” played. “Osaka Ramones” played at the US tour 2025 and at Club Goodman, Akihabara Tokyo in July. This time, Osaka Ramones play at the home town of the Ramones, New York City. During all through the show, the audience sang along us. Osaka Ramones finished safely.
楽屋に戻ってさっと着替えて次は「少年ナイフ」の出番。最新リリースの「Let’s Knife Re-Cut」からの曲中心に演奏しました。大変盛り上がってライブは終了。
We came back to the dressing room after show and changed the costumes quickly for “Shonen Knife” show. We played songs from our latest release “Let’s Knife Re-Cut”. The show was finished with cheerful audience.

グッズコーナーへ行きサイン会をして、車で宿に帰りました。おつかれさま！
All of us went to the merch table and did autograph session. Then drove back to the hotel. Everybody did good job!
