December 29th 2011 is the 30th anniversary of Shonen Knife.
The original members Michie, Atsuko and I rehearsed first time at a studio in Namba, Osaka on Dec.29th 1981. Since then we played at many cities in many countries and released 15 original full albums and a lot of mini albums, singles, compilations and covers. We had some members change, the present members Ritsuko, Emi and I are keep on rocking.
I’m so happy to see this anniversary. Everything is thanks to our fans and our staff. We venture into a new era. We’ll Rock hard!!!
2011年12月29日で少年ナイフは結成30周年となります。
大阪、難波のスタジオで初めてバンド練習したのが1981年12月29日。それ以来、世界各地でライブしたり、15枚のアルバム、それ以外にたくさんのミニアルバムやシングルやコンピレーションやカバーもリリースしてきました。メンバーチェンジも経て現在のメンバー、りつこ、えみ、そしてわたくし、なおこで「ロック」しつづけています。
この記念すべき日を迎えることができて、とても幸せです。すべてナイフの音楽を聴いて下さる方々、そしてスタッフのおかげです。ありがとう。これからまた未知の領域へ踏み込みたいと思います。みなさまよろしくおねがいします。
