朝8時半にホテルを出発。車で3時間ほど行ったところで道を間違って反対方向へ走るというハプニングもありましたが、予定より3時間遅れて会場着。どんだけ逆に走ったんやろか？！途中で何だかおかしいと思って地図見たら車が逆向いて走っていたから、みんなに言ったら、わー、逆やー、いうことでルートを修正しました。多分このソーセージプレッツェル買ったサービスエリアから出たときから逆方向に走っていたと思われます。
We left the hotel at 8:30 in the morning. After about three hours of driving, we got lost and ended up driving in the opposite direction, arriving at the venue three hours later than planned. I wonder how far we drove in the opposite direction?! Something seemed strange along the way, so we looked at the map and saw that the car was going the wrong way. We told everyone, and they all said, “Wow, we’re going the wrong way,” so we adjusted our route. We probably started driving in the opposite direction from the time we left the service area where we bought this sausage pretzel.
ともあれ、無事ルート修正出来てよかった！何とか開場の1時間半ぐらい前に到着し、てきぱきとステージセッティング、サウンドチェックを済ませました。夕食は会場の食べ物窓口で「タキトス」を注文。少年ナイフの曲、Vamos Taquitosのモデルとなった「タキトス」は本来は揚げてあるそうですが、ここのは焼きです。おいしかったです。
Anyway, I was glad that I was able to correct the route! We managed to arrive about an hour and a half before the doors opened, and was able to quickly set up the stage and complete the sound check. For dinner, I ordered “Taquitos” at the venue’s food counter. I made a song “Vamos Taquitos” which were inspired by Taquitos. Regular Taquitos are supposedly fried, but the ones here were grilled. They were delicious.

シンバルに意匠を施しさて本番！ライブ開始時間は日曜日ということもあり、8時スタート。早い始まり時間は助かります。ライブはとてもいい感じに盛り上がりました。かわいい子供さんたちもたくさん見に来てくれました。
After I was adding some design to the cymbals, it was time for the show! As it was a Sunday, the concert started at 8:00. The early start time was very helpful. The concert was a great success, and lots of cute kids came to watch.
ツアークルーのアンソニーのお母さまもバッファローから見に来てくれました。キュートなお方でした。
Anthony, one of our tour crew members, whose mother came from Buffalo. She was so sweet.
ホテルに入って、ランドリーで洗濯して12時ごろ就寝。
I checked into the hotel, did my laundry at the guest laundry, and went to bed around 12 o’clock.
