Welcome to Atsuko’s note 

おはようございます。今日は移動日。ボストン近くのホテルからニューハンプシャー州デュラハムへ行きます。

まずは日系スーパーでおかきを買いました。

Good morning. Today is a travel day. We were heading from a hotel near Boston to Durham, New Hampshire.

First, I bought some rice crackers at a Japanese supermarket.

次は韓国系スーパー、Hマートでランチ。私はパン屋さんでピロシキを買って食べました。

Next, we had lunch at the Korean supermarket H Mart. I bought a pirozhki at the bakery and ate it.

貝の種類が凄い！

The variety of shellfish is amazing!

今日の移動はトータル2時間ほどなので、モールにも寄りました。うさぎさんがお出迎えしてくれました。

Since today’s travel took about two hours in total, we stopped by a mall. A rabbit was there to welcome us.

2時間ほど自由行動。フードコートで直子発見！結局私は何も買わなかったけど、みんなは何か買っていて楽しんだ様子。

We had about two hours of free time. I found Naoko in the food court! In the end, I didn’t buy anything myself, but everyone else seemed to enjoy shopping for things.

ホテルにチェックインして洗濯しました！ランドリーマシーンに使う25セント硬貨に両替するのに苦労したけど服がきれいになってスッキリしました。

部屋の電子レンジでパスタを茹でて食べました。久々のワインが美味しい！

We checked into the hotel and did my laundry! It was a bit of a hassle getting change into quarters for the machines, but it feels great to have clean clothes.

I boiled some pasta in the room’s microwave and ate it. The wine—the first I’ve had in a while—tastes delicious!
