おはようございます。今日はパリまでの移動日です。
朝8時過ぎに起きて近所のスーパーへ。オニオンパンとチーズデニッシュを買いに行きました。非常用にやきそばのカップ麺も購入。
10時に出発しました。
Good morning. Today is a travel day to Paris.
I woke up a little after 8:00 a.m. and went to the local supermarket. I went to buy onion bread and cheese Danish. I also bought a cup of yakisoba noodles for emergency.
We left at 10:00.
川がむこうにあるのですが、橋が低いので船が通る時に道路がせり上がってる！
The river was over there, but the bridge was so low that the road was rising up when the boats went by!
道路が下がってきて橋が見えてきた！
The road was coming down and the bridge was coming into view!
バンの中のナオコ。いつもカチカチやってるけど、この時は居眠り中。
Naoko in the van. She’s always typing, but at this time she was dozing.
私たちのバンはイギリス車なのでハンドルは右側。ヨーロッパはチケットが左側にあるから取るの大変です。
Our van is a British car so the steering wheel is on the right side. It is hard to get tickets in Europe because they are on the left side.
渋滞にあいつつもやっとホテルに到着。8時間位かかりました。デイブ、お疲れさまでした。
It took us about 8 hours to get to the hotel. Thank you, Dave, for your hard work.
晩ご飯は、日本食レストラン。珍しいメニューの串セットを頼みました。これけっこういけました！美味しかった！
Dinner was at a Japanese restaurant. I ordered a set of skewers, a rare item on the menu. It was quite good! It was delicious!
ホテルに戻ってシャワーしておやすみなさい。
Back to the hotel, took a shower and good night.
