おはようございます。今日はミュージックフェスで少年ナイフと大阪ラモーンズで出演します。

Good morning. Today we will be playing at Music Festival with Shonen Knife and Osaka Ramones.

 

ホテルを出発して30分ほどで見えてきました。テントがいっぱい〜

It took about 30 minutes after leaving the hotel, I could see lots of tents.

大きなテントの中に作ってある楽屋。

大きなステージ。舞台裏はバタバタしてます。

Behind the big stage, the staff seems to be busy.

フェスは基本、サウンドチェックは無し。音が出るかを確認するラインチェックをして本番です。

私が歌った時だけちょっと雨がぱらついたけどナオコが歌う時は晴れて青空。なんでやねん。風も強くて髪の毛くちゃくちゃだけど、楽しく盛り上がりました。ありがとう！

Basically, there is no sound check at festivals. A line check is done to confirm that the sound is produced, and then the show is on.

It sprinkled a bit of rain only when I sang, but when Naoko sang, it cleared up and the sky was blue. Why is that? It was windy and my hair was a mess, but I had a great time. Thank you very much.

 

機材をバンに積み込んで離れた次のステージに移動です。

スタッフの方が手伝ってくれました。

We loaded the equipment into a van and moved to the next stage.

 The staff helped us.

 

ランチはパエリアとサラダ。

Paella and salad for lunch.

大阪ラモーンズ、はじまりました！お客さんが詰め詰めです。私は少年ナイフとは逆のステージ上手に立ってます。

Osaka Ramones has begun! The audience is packed. I’m standing on the stage left. It’s opposite side of the stage from Shonen Knife.

イギーポップ様のケースの上にナオコのアンプ！だったのね。

Naoko’s amp on top of Iggy Pop’s case! So it was.

夕食はサンデーロースト。

Dinner was a Sunday roast.

 

終わってからフェスを歩いていたら、たくさんの人に「良かったよ！」と声をかけてもらいました。嬉しい限りです。

ステキなイベントに出れて楽しかったです。

Walking around the festival afterwards, many people told me, “That was great!” I was so happy to hear that.

It was fun to be a part of this wonderful event.
