May 30th Cancelled show at Portland Arms, Cambridge UK
５月30日（金）英国 ケンブリッジ キャンセルされた！Portland Arms
朝、昨日のケータリングのサンドイッチを食べてブログを仕上げ、午後2時にDaveが迎えに来てくれてホテルを出発。ロンドン市内の渋滞を抜けて草原を通って約１時間半でケンブリッジ到着。
I had sandwich from yesterday’s catering in the morning, finished my blog. Dave picked us up at 2pm and drove through grassy field, we arrived at Cambridge after an hour and a half drive.

おととしも来た会場です。搬入して階段のところにグッズコーナー設営。はぁ、きれいに陳列できました！
This is the venue we played 2 years ago. Load in and sat up merch stall at the stairs. Yeah, it’s beautiful!
サウンドチェックを終えたころ、今日はチケットソルドアウトだからグッズコーナーを外のバーに移動してくれと言われ、あたふた移動。せっかくきれいに陳列できたのにさ。
After sound check, we were told that tickets were sold out and there will be no space at the venue and we needed to move the merch stall to the bar. We had to move merch stall to the bar. Ah, it was a beautiful stall at the venue, though.
さあ、準備万端。夕食は何？とDaveに聞いたら、「バーの方の電気がつかなくて修理中で、最短で修理完了が夜中の１２時になるそうで、今日はライブキャンセルやと。」との通達あり。会場は電気通っているのに！トイレがバーにしかなくて、バーが停電だとドリンクも売れないので開店できない決まりになっている、とのこと。ライブだけでもやらせてほしいとプロモーターにいうも、あかんそうで。結局ふたたび機材とグッズの重たい箱をみんなして車に積み込みロンドンへ帰ることになりました。
We were ready to the show! II asked to Dave “what shall we eat for dinner?” He said “We had to cancel the show because of electrical trouble. There is no electricity at the bar and at the earliest, it will be repaired at midnight.” What? Electricity is alive at the venue! But I heard that toilets are only in the bar and they can’t prepare food and drink. I asked that we would like to play but it was impossible. We had to load out. Carrying heavy stuff and drove back to London.
泣くしかない。せっかく来てくださったお客さんに申し訳ないです。ごめんなさい。
I can do nothing but cry. I’m very sorry for people who tried to come to the venue.
帰路の車内で飲み物こぼしてズボンや荷物が濡れたし、踏んだり蹴ったりでした。ロンドンに戻って、みんなで中華を食べに行きました。
I spilt a drink in the van on the way to London and my trousers and bags got wet. Misfortunes never come singly. We went back to London and had dinner at a Chinese restaurant.
明日からまたがんばります。
