May 22nd, Travel Day from Belgium to the UK

件のブリュッセル郊外のホテル、朝起きてドアを開けると電気のこぎりが部屋の前に！やばい！のちに植木の刈込をしていたことが判明。何から何までやばいぜ、このホテル！
I got up in the morning and opened the door of my hotel room and there was an electric saw in front of the door. What? I found that gardeners cut trees’ branch after a while. But anyway, it was dangerous and yesterday’s double booking was more dangerous. Is this hotel OK?!
朝、荷物整理をしてドーバー海峡のカレーを目指して出発。ベルギーからフランスに入り、フランスのカレーで出国手続きをしてすぐ英国の入国審査を受けます。もちろん労働許可証を取っているので問題もなく。
We sort our luggage in the morning and offed to Calais. From Belgium, we drove to Calais, France and get through French immigration and UK immigration. We took work permit and it went smoothly.
この日はDaveの誕生日。フェリーの乗船待ちの車内でプレゼントのチョコレートを渡しました。甘党男子だからね。お喜びの様子、何よりです。
It was our tour manager Dave’s birthday. We gave chocolate to him as a birthday gift. Because he loves sweets. He looked happy and it was good.
そして、午後１時半のフェリーに乗船。
Then we took a ferry of 13:30.

フランスと英国は１時間時差があるので時計を合わせます。船内で昼食。ハムとチーズのパニーニをユーロのコインで買いました。コインは使っちゃわないとね。でもだいぶ残ってはいますが。
There is an hour time difference between France and the UK and I fixed my watch. I had lunch in the ferry. I bought ham and cheese panini in the ferry using EURO coins. I had to use coins but I still have some coins.
フェリーでドーバー海峡を渡るのは１０年以上ぶりかも。ここんとこずっとトンネルを使っていたから。わたしはフェリー大好きです。そして英国のドーバーに着岸。
It may be the first time to use ferry at Dover more than 10 years. I used tunnel in these years. I love ferry. We arrived at Dover in the UK.
車でしばらく走って税関へ。何でこんなに離れた場所にあるのかな？ツアーマネージャーのDaveが手続きしに行ってる間、眠くて車内でうつらうつら。車は渋滞にあいつつも少年ナイフのアルバムをリリースしてくれている英国のレーベルDamnably Recordsの事務所到着。お世話になっております。ありがとう！
We drove a while and went to custom. Why the custom is at so far away place? During Dave went to the custom office, I got sleepy and took a nap in our van. Then we drove to the office of Damnably records. They release our album. Thanks always!
CDを受け取ってさらに小一時間走り、ロンドン北部の我々の常宿に到着。そのあとみんなでここに来たらいつも食べに行く韓国系和食店へ。なんでもおいしい！最高！ごちそうさまでした。
We received our albums there and drove an hour more, we arrived at North London where is our base camp. After check in, we went to eat dinner to a Korean-Japanese restaurant which we always eat. Everything is delicious! Wonderful!
みんなで町を散歩してスーパーで買い物して就寝。
After dinner, we walk around the town, shopping at super markets and went to be.
