11時にデザインがエジプト?みたいなゴールドコーストのリゾートホテルをチェックアウトしてブリスベンへ。

I checked out of my Gold Coast resort hotel, which looked like it was designed in Egypt(?), at 11:00 a.m. and headed for Brisbane.

ポールさんお勧めのカフェでランチ。チキンサンドイッチとアイスコーヒー。量が多くてチーズもガッツリ入ってたのを美味しかったから完食したので、案の定お腹がビックリしてしまいました。

We had lunch at a cafe recommended by Paul. I had chicken sandwich and iced coffee. It was a big sandwich and had a lots cheeses in it, and I finished it because it was so good, but my stomach was surprised, as I thought.

その後ホテルにチェックイン、36階。高層ビル群。

After that we checked in the hotel. 36th floor. There were many tall buildings.

ちょっと休んで4時に会場へ。

We had a short rest and went the venue.

会場のある奥まで車で入れないので途中から荷物と直子はカートで、私は歩いて行きました。

We couldn’t drive to the back where the venue was located, so we had our luggage and Naoko ride in a cart on the way there, and I walked.

ホテルまで歩いて帰って、晩ごはんは会場のレストランで注文した春巻きを持ち帰り食べました。

We walked back to the hotel and took home for dinner the spring rolls I had ordered from the venue’s restaurant.

ライブが終わって3人で乾杯！

綺麗な夜景を見ながら歩いてホテルに戻りました。

今日は私の誕生日。サウンドマンのグレッグも誕生日。

Today is my birthday.  It’s also our soundman Greg’s birthday.

観客の皆さんにハッピーバースデーソングを大合唱してもらって感激しました。スペシャルな誕生日になりました。ありがとうございます。

I was thrilled to have the audience sing the Happy Birthday song to me. It was a special birthday. Thank you very much.
