おはようございます。今日の移動は日付変更線を超えるので1時間時計の針を戻します。なので出発は9時、約5時間半のドライブでこのツアー2度目のアイスホッケーアリーナ会場に到着しました。
いつもならメンアットワークのサウンドチェックが始まっているのに今日はまだ何も始まっていません。照明機材やPAスピーカーなどを積んだトラックが遅れているとの事でした。大丈夫か？
Good morning. Since today’s travel involves crossing the International Date Line, I am setting my watch back by one hour. We departed at 9:00 a.m. and, after a drive of about five and a half hours, arrived at the ice hockey arena—the second one on this tour.
Usually, Men at Work’s soundcheck would have started by now, but nothing has begun yet today. Apparently, the truck carrying the lighting equipment and PA speakers is running late. I wonder if everything will be okay.
何はともあれケータリング会場でランチ。

ステージ側と反対の窓の外は別のスケートリンクがありました。
Outside the window on the side opposite the stage, there was another skating rink.
機材車が到着し、セッティングが始まっています。
The equipment vehicle has arrived, and setup is underway.
ここのアイスホッケーチームの名前はバイソン！
The name of the ice hockey team here is the Bison.
がんばれバイソン！

照明機材やスピーカーも設置されてされて、地元のスタッフの方々も準備に大忙しです。
アリーナツアーってトラックやバスが何台も移動して働いているスタッフの数も多く凄いなと改めて思いました。
Lighting equipment and speakers have been set up, and the local staff are hard at work with preparations.
Seeing an arena tour made me realize all over again just how impressive it is—with all the trucks and buses traveling around and the huge number of staff members working behind the scenes.
またケータリング会場へ。

サウンドチェックを5分位で済ませました。
We finished the sound check in about five minutes.
