朝7時半にカジノホテルのロビーに集合してパーキングへ行き、出発。昨日、今日、明日は長距離移動日です。休憩なしで5時間移動。本日のライブはワイナリーで。ワイナリーと言えば5月に「なおこwith papalion」で福島県二本松のワイナリーライブさせてもらいました。あの時も楽しかったなぁ。（5月のブログをご参照ください）写真はこちら、Saratogaマウンテンワイナリーのぶどうの木。
We met in the casino hotel lobby at 7:30am, headed to the parking lot, and set off. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow are all long drive days. The distance from Reno NV to Saratoga CA is hour drive without break. Today’s venue is a winery. Speaking of wineries, back in May, I performed at a winery in Nihonmatsu, Fukushima, as”Naoko with Papalion.” That was such a fun time, too. (Please check out the blog post from May.) 急なカーブの山道を車で登っていき、午後1時半ごろ会場到着。その後ケータリングへ行き、いただいたのはこちら。赤玉ねぎ好きです。
We drove up a winding mountain road with sharp curves and arrived at the venue around 1:30 pm. Afterward, I headed to the catering area and had this. I love red onions.

会場に居た誰かの犬。アメリカはどんな場所でも犬を連れた人が多いです。犬もかわいいけど私は猫派。
There was a someone’s dog at the venue. Many people are taking their dogs everywhere in the US. Dogs are cute but I prefer Cats.

客席はすり鉢状になっています。
The seating area is shaped like a bowl.

会場のあちらこちらにワインの樽のディスプレイがありました。
There were displays of wine barrels throughout the venue.

会場のサインボードにサインをしました。
We autographed on a signboard.

そして、サウンドチェック。
Then soundcheck started.

その後、このツアーの出演バンド、クルー、全員で記念写真を撮りました。まずは、クルーの方々。大きな機材を運んだり設置したりステージ周りの仕事やらプロフェッショナルな方々ばかりです。
Afterward, the bands performing on the tour and the entire crew gathered for a commemorative photo. First up, the crew members are true professionals who handle everything from transporting and setting up heavy equipment to managing tasks around the stage.

Men At Work, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Shonen Knife３バンドで。今回は素晴らしいバンドの素晴らしい音楽に囲まれて幸せなツアーでした。メジャーなバンドの大規模なツアーに参加したのは９０年代初期のNIRVANAの時以来２回目です。このツアーはとても良い経験になりました。
Then Men At Work, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and Shonen Knife took pictures together. It was a wonderful tour, surrounded by great music from amazing bands. This was the first time I’d participated in a large-scale tour with major bands after the tour with Nirvana in early 90’s. This tour became a very precious experience for me.

その後また、夕食のケータリングへ行ったんだろうけど、写真を撮り忘れたので何を食べたのか忘れてしましました。ケータリングの場所にZZ Topの写真がありました。ZZ Topのドラマーが最近亡くなったとか。
I may have been to catering after that for dinner but I forgot to take pictures and forgot what I ate. There was a photo of ZZ Top. The drummer of ZZ Top passed away recently.

そして、ライブ。ライブは盛況。サンノゼやサンフランシスコからもたくさんお客さんが来てくださいました。
Then show time! Our show went well. There are many audience from San Jose or San Francisco.

ライブ終了後は、サイン会。こちらも多くのお客さんが並んで下さり、感謝の極みです。サイン会終了後楽屋への帰り道、Toad The Wet Sprocketのライブが始まっていました。
After show, we did autograph session. Many people came to our booth and I was so happy. Thank you for coming. Toad The Wet Sprocket show was started when we went back to the dressing room.

撤収後、小一時間走ってホテルに入り、就寝。
After packing up, we drove for about an hour, checked into the hotel, and went to sleep.
