ホテルを2時に出発し、ケンブリッジのライブ会場に到着。2年ぶりです。
We left the hotel at 2:00 p.m. and arrived at the venue in Cambridge, the first time in two years.
荷物を運び入れて、
Bring in the equipments,
セッティング完了。
Finished setting.
サウンドチェックもして物販も設置完了。お腹減ったし晩ご飯を食べてあとはライブと思っていたら、な、な、何とバーの方の電気がこなくて停電状態。復旧するのは早くても夜中の12時になるからライブは中止だと。会場は電気がきてるからライブ出来るやん、と聞くも、バーにしかトイレが無くバーがオープンしない限りライブは出来ない規則と言われて…。
Sound check was done and the merch booth was set up. We were hungry and thought we were going to have dinner and then go on the stage, but… well, at the bar had no power. The power would be restored at the earliest at midnight, so the concert was canceled. We tried to argue with them that the venue had electricity, so we could still do the show, but we were told that the only restrooms were in the bar and that we couldn’t do the show unless the bar was open….that is the rule.
仕方なく機材を片付けました。
We had no choice but to put away our equipment.
悲しい〜
So sad.
帰り際、ファンの方が何人か来られて挨拶しました。チケットを買ってくださった皆さまには申し訳ありません。ソールドアウトだっただけにライブが出来なくて残念です。近いうちに戻って来たいです。
As we were leaving, some fans came to the venue and I said hello. I’m sorry to everyone who bought tickets. It was a sold-out show, so I’m disappointed that I couldn’t perform it. I hope to come back soon.
お腹が空いたままロンドンまで戻って、遅い晩ご飯を食べました。
みんなでご飯に行くと何故か食べるのが遅い私のが1番最後にサーブされる事が多くて、そんな事を話ししてたらナオコと同じものを注文したのにもかかわらず、またしても私のがこなくて…。笑
With hungry stomachs, we returned to London for a late dinner.
When we all go out to eat together, for some reason, mine is often served last even though I am a slow eater. We were talking about this when Naoko and I ordered the same thing, but again mine didn’t come…. LOL!
